It's only a tenner but better than nothing if you were going to get Sky Sports in time for the football season starting like me.
Had a look around and don't think there are any other offers on Sky Sports (and I'm scared of getting Setanta after the problems other people have had) but please correct me if there are as I would be very interested in them myself!

does this work when upgrading to sky movies?

I have seen what setanta sports is showing this year and it is much more than last year so have decided against sky sports. Its free on Virgin

To get the full deal you need both really...

Good deal if you want sky sports though.

Yeah I think it is just Sky Sports unfortunately, to coincide with the start of the Premier League season. I saw the advert whilst watching Sky last night and there was no mention of Movies I'm afraid.

They don’t exactly have the best choice of Premiership matches but they do also have FA Cup ties and International qualifiers for all the UK teams.

It’s hardly free on Virgin Media as you only get it bundled when you take out their XL TV package which has a standard price of £19.50 per month. Setanta Sports is the best part of the XL TV package as far as I’m concerned.

Well i went for Setanta as I wanted Arsenal TV so i bite my lip about the Setanta problems we hear all too regular. Well guess what.... I rang Setanta to subscribe, they taken my details, then told me they was currently having signal problems in my area and I had to phone Customer Services. So I rang the premium number knowing full well CS keep you waiting for ages before answering you. When I finally got through, and stated what had happened with my initally try to subcribe with them, the CS rep went quiet.... he mumbled something that appeared offensive... then obviously hung up on me!

Well that made my mind up. After hearing all the cancellation problems with Setanta, I can't even get them to subscribe me LMAO

When I added Sky Sports I got this:

Monthly Costs
Current Monthly Cost 17.00
Monthly TV Cost 34.00
Total Monthly Costs 51.00

I have currently got the Varierty Mix but I thought the £34 would be the total cost not £51.There is no way it lets you drop the Variety Mix!!
