I still use an Everton one of bought for less than a fiver during a previous sale. This sale doesn’t have any bargains like that but better than nothing

The Everton and Manchester City remotes were mega cheap previously because both teams had updated their crest designs, making remotes featuring the older designs rather less saleable to their respective fans.

Dunno about the ass batteries, but you can the AAA batteries from pretty much anywhere.

I'm sure your local supermarket has some.

Edit: I've just seen the faux Pas.. silly me

Black Friday sale my foot!....sky are taking the p*** and just jumping on the bandwagon.... ...a multi million pound company ...that can't have a proper sale on flipping accessories!!!!!

Whats wrong with the £3.99 "genuine" sky remotes on ebay

I'm suspicious of the RRPs they're using.

Would the Sky Q remote really have cost more than the more advanced Sky Q with voice control and touch sensitive pad?

I doubt it.

Plus they're s**t teams anyway, lol

Bought a replacement remote for a rel, thanks OP.
At payment the Sky.com website threw up a huge page wanting every imaginable detail about me & my card.
I declined this and the payment went through. I thought only the card issuers were allowed to collect all that stuff for future online verification of the card in other web transactions. Odd.

Bought water bottles and remote last time. bottles never turned up and there is no way to contact them. lost £1 but got paid £3 casback from Quidco...

How do you get free delivery?

I didn't care about that as I support neither and £4.99 post paid was a good deal to me it is just a functional remote control
