Just as a matter of interest who is it calling? It's not the BBC, and seems to be a number used for various offers. Forgive me, but it could be anyone you're asking us to call and give details to!
And note it's 0844 (think that it's 15p connection and 5-10p/m after?)

OK, where does it come from?

From a TalkTalk landline it is 9.6p/min plus 16p connection charge. (Approx 64p for a 5 minute call).
From a BT landline it is 6.1p/min plus 16p connection charge. (Approx 46p for a 5 minute call)

From a mobile it is likely to cost around 35p/minute

So with the price of the call it's not free at all and you're giving away your details to a marketing company to be used at a later date. If you're that bothered then just buy the magazine.

I meant where does the offer come from, the link doesn't go anywhere. Was it the SAN webpage, Facebook, twitter, a leaflet, was it an article in a magazine?
just meaning, it's more likely to be taken up if we know who we're calling and can see the original offer (i.e a webpage) there's a lot of deals where people ask for 'proof' with no reason, but with this it's actually quite important as we're being asked to call a random number and give people our details.

Thanks for posting and all that, but you're less likely to get heat, and people less likely to use it without something to refer to.

I prefer 'Sky & Telescope' and if you sign up to the Sky & Telescope community now you can download a Free Saturn’s Bounty Ebook
