Good deal for those who usually have a weekend bet anyways - place a minimum of £5, maximum of £10 on a horse in the 1:50 at Cheltenham today and get your money back as a free bet today if your horse loses. Worst case you get a free bet, or if your one of the lucky ones your horse wins - happy days.

Worth a try and lets keep our fingers crossed

You can either punt and hope, or back and lay, and hope the 'trigger' comes in; in this case, that your pick doesn't win.

Personally, I've gone for 'Smad Place', @ 4.33 and laid off @ 4.40, for a loss of -£0.31 whatever happens, and hopefully a free £10 bet if it loses...

Unfortunately, this post will no doubt go cold, due to too many people not understanding the potential of offers like this on here, but for what it's worth, have some heat from me, OP!

Nothing wrong with a free bet if used with common sense. I also fancy the chances of Smad Place....

I can't actually see this offer on their website - where about is it mentioned please? Thank you.

Found it now!

Just wondering, it says minimum £5, if I do £2.50 each way is that allowed (wouldn't it be £5 then) to get the cashback? Thank you.

It mentions each way bets in the terms and conditions so you should be fine....

Decided to go ahead and do the £5 bet on Smad Place - did well but came second, never mind, will get my £5 back for losing, thank you anyway, will know next time.

...and that's exactly why you can take the 'safe route' and back/lay for minimum loss.

-£0.31, with a free £10 bet to come, so should make a 'risk free' £8+ from it.
