Has anyone who is with sky via app or online account, ever been able to see any notes under my help or similar ie from when you have spoken with sky advisor via phone, text or live chat etc? As I was informed by advisor on phone that even though I've now left sky I should be able to login sky account and see any notes on my account! But oddly advisor could not direct me to that part of my account as he said he was not familiar with sky account website. I asked if he could get someone else to help, then came back, saying unfortunately that part of sky account website was under maintenance

Not really. I work from home and we tend to have multiple devices online at any one time so I need the bandwidth

THANKS OP ! Heat ! What about TCB ?
im have 60 meg and its awesome.if anyone is thinking of switching, can i just say tried several providers and hands down sky is miles better than any of them.i need ultra stability and i get it.do not think i have had any disruption for about 6 months solid.also customer services are awesome paying 70 pounds for tv with eurosport sky movies sky sports 60 meg fibre and 5 pound sim and i have xbox for multiroom.i basically have maximum discounts throughout.however sky will tell me when my discounts are running out and encourage me to haggle for another.
hi, I got talk talk through Quidco and they couldn't deliver what they promised

It's 59.95 set up fee... Having said that's its still a good deal...
This isn't that great a deal.

Anyone know of any good ones? £25 per month for broadband seems more or less standard, my deal ran out with Sky and its now £29.... Previously it was under a tenner.

Yes there is cashback but there is cashback on all the deals. I can't get fibre.

sky is faster than BT despite open reach owning the infrastructure and when ever i have done the yearly switch back and forth between them both ( FOR INTRODUCTORY GIFTS) i always notice sky is faster and better for WiFi and Ethernet connections and the ping is a good 10 ms faster.

Although is not true fibre optic at 38mbs they should be no issue even if everyone is downloading or streaming at the same time.

Ive just gone from sky to BT as sky wouldn't offer me a great deal. Went with BT max option and infinity 1 for £44.99 a month. I was getting 40mb with sky and 59mb with BT so its faster for me. Plus got a £150 mastercard with them. Oh and free BT sports is a massive bonus. Really happy with it so far. But before the switch I have been with sky for 11 years and never had a problem. Stuck with BT for 18 months now and hoping I get no problems either lol. Sky have already been ringing with great offers since I left.

You have the right to cancel/renegotiate due to 1 April & 1 May price changes. Many seem to be getting Fibre for £23

Sky backhaul I believe has non BT at parts past the exchange,Virgin Media for example. The BT 1 GBPS backhaul monopoly days are over so you buy mobile to kEEp revenues up.
Won't the £75 MasterCard from Sky kill the Quidco cashback?
Just signed up under my own name as new account holder - was already with sky but under the Mrs name..

Had to say I'm moving into property and lost the our telephone number ....not sure if there was a better way of signing up without losing our number!?

I tried to log in to see my 'upgrade' options, yet it says the 17mb broadband is all that's available to me, yet fibre is available in my apartment block via other providers. I haven't had an issue with sky, but with the price increase and slow broadband speeds, looks like a change I will need to make if they can't offer me discount

No Sky order system usually throws a hissy if you do Sky to Sky order with number transfer - simply after ordering you have to ask the wife to call Sky saying (you are splitting up) and she consents to number being transferred to your new account on the takeover date.

Nope, the Quidco page takes you to the regular Sky landing page with £75 MC also, I’ve never had a issue and I’ve done 3 accounts at addresses for years with Sky & TCB/Quidco

We all can, especially speed reading lol
Mine comes up at £28 and 50 aticvtion fee ?
I recently paid my line rental saver for 12 months £205.90, when renewing my contract over phone sales girl confirmed if I went to another provider during 30 day cooling off period that I would be entitled to refund of my line rental saver less any line rental for that period. I've since transferred over to BT in march 2nd, so was only with sky for approximately 10 days. I've been trying ever since to get a refund but sky giving me delay tactics for last few weeks, making excuses up, putting me hold forever, passing back n forth from 1 person to another, telling me because of adverse weather ie snow they are short staffed. Promising to call me back within next few days then not calling back, i phoned today was given more bs, now saying they will call me on Monday between 4/5pm. I've been advised by ofcom to make official complaint in writing recorded delivery.ofcom also asked me to inform sky during phone call that I'm to contact Communications & Internet Services Adjudication Scheme (CISAS) they investigate misconduct if a ISP purposely behaves inappropriately towards a customer, apparently the ISP can be forced to pay up to £500 just to be investigated , ofcom guy said usually the ISP will settle up refunds quite quickly if this happens!
Has anyone else here had a similar problem trying to get a Line rental saver refund, please share your experiences?
