looking for a cheap broadband deal.

Sky 18 months contract looks promising.

Only £18 a month (down from £31).

No other provider with similar quality would be able to beat this.

Quite a good deal I think, works out at £14.66/mth with the tcb, plus look at it long term, if you're with sky then at the end of your contract they're excellent at retentions you just have to spend a bit of time on live chat haggling and you'll come away with a better deal than your outgoing one, I have for the last 3 years, I'm currently paying £8.99 for std broadband.

Pick up and dial their number?
Use their message service?
Or maybe actually ‘look’?

Yes live chat does exist. It can take a while but definitely there as I used it a few weeks ago to negotiate for a relative.

I greed £17.50 per month for 12 months on Fibre Max (inc line rental) - it then went up to £19.50 due to the price rise , but we are getting £50 cashback on Santander bank account offer offset that.

OR...
If you just want standard broadband, sign up to OneStream for £11.99 a month and only a 12 month contract.
hotukdeals.com/deals/unlimited-broadband-1199-per-month-12-months-contract-999-router-delivery-11mb-speed-line-rental-include-15387-onestream-3209582

They don't offer cashback as such via Quidco or TCB, but if you go to these cashback websites and select Broadband Genie which is a broadband price comparison website, for internet and order OneStream via them you'll get £25-30 cashback.

They also do Fibre 38mb broadband for £19.95!

Link please?
I just tried to haggle with sky via chat they wouldn't budge Im paying £15 per month broadband and line rental they now want £25 per month no free calls included so I had to cancel

Login then go to this …Login then go to this page:https://www.sky.com/help/home/your-account/my-account-and-subscription/cancel-my-subscription/cancel-sky-broadband/articles/cancel-sky-broadbandClick yes at the bottom then "view your options online" above the contact options.

Thank you I've been struggling with this for a while also my sky broadband is due for renewal next month
I have found that large amounts of cashback not tracking and being refused after appeal , smaller amounts go through this seems a deliberate policy with Topcashback and Quidco.....

The Sky Q Hub, which is the newer router that all new customers get, only has 2 ethernet ports (gigabit)
broadbandchoices.co.uk/gui…ers

It seems pretty similar (not only physically but in specs) to the one provided by NowTv broadband I am currently with, which is not the greatest router of them all to be honest.

There are only 2 on the current router. Had it installed at my dad's place but also had virgin media coming in a week later so cancelled sky making the excuse of "not enough ethernet ports"
