You need to be an existing renewing customer.

I called up for a MAC code and they tried to keep me. I quoted 3 alternate offers plus net (£13.50/m), pop (£12.50/m) and EE (£12.50/m) - they verified while I was on the call. They offered discounted line rental and free unlimited broadband. Inc weekend call package. No TV or any extras.

Therefore £9.99/month for 12 months.

Has anybody been offer fibre broadband deals when they tried to leave Sky … Has anybody been offer fibre broadband deals when they tried to leave Sky broadband!

well 2 weeks ago i was gonna leave until they offered me fibre optic broadband (upto 38mbs) £10 a month for 12 months, then £20 a month for the next 6 (total 18 month contract) along with paying line rental up front of £140 (for 12 months) instead of the standard £15.80 a month.

i took this deal and i think its decent.

bad customer service. avoid!

Be careful as Fibre Optic is an 18 month contract while their normal sky is on 12 months.

Their Internet contract however is separate to the TV contacts.

Warning - Tried to get a better deal from sky as at the end of contract, along with complaining about the BB speed.I have BB, TV(Original), Phone(wknds) at £29.99 They offered £29.20 !! Said no thank you and thought I would try later with a different person. When I called back 1hr later the guy said sorry you are in a new contract for a year lol. Anyway after many calls to resolve it I have now been told it was a training issue and a manager would call that was a few days ago - Still waiting!

I decided to try elsewhere and have now joined Virgin on a fantastic package recommended by a member.

152mb
Phone Talk Weekend Calls
1tb Box
Extra HD Box
Big Kahuna package
BT Sport
Netflix (6mths)
12 Month Contract
Free Install
Total.......£33

The guy from Virgin was really helpful and said it was a special discount for friends and family .

Install on the 13th Sep bye bye Sky!

I'm paying at the minute £7.50 a month for sky broadband unlimited inc line rent.
There was an offer through hot deals a few months ago

I got offered nothing when leaving them to go with BT after being with them for it must have been over twenty years in total.
They tried comparing their prices to BT infinity but when I said I was raking option 2 at 76mbs and getting that cheaper than their equivalent they said I didn't need that speed!
I said that doesn't matter, what matters is I want it and am willing to pay for it.
I wasn't offered a penny off so they lost broadband and a full TV package.

They offered £1.75 compensation !!! Anyway it all worked out well got the Virgin package for a great price:)
