I had the same offer on sky Kids, it's silly that u have to give cancellation notice straight after signing up. I cancelled on day 29 and was told because I didn't give 30 days notice (for a 30 day offer) I would need to pay.
Unfortunately, this deal has expired 1 April 2023.

Need to be really careful with offers like this if you're already on a discounted package, it can play hell with your account when it comes to cancelling. We have all sorts of discounts applied to our account, last time i tried adding something like this it started recalculating the entire package and taking the discounts off.
Sky Cinema not really worth it unfortunately, we've had this for 3 months and probabyl watched 2 films....weaste of money
At 720p and no 5.1. It's acceptable for free.

I recommend people get this, which is free. Just before the contract ends and you will pay for on roll, just quickly cancel the free contract subscription. And within few months they would send you promotion offers.
I paid £1 for every 6 months!
But in terms of how good sky cinema is, it really isn't worth it. Some movie list are good, but it lacks other language subtitles. And worth of all, you need to pay extra £6 to watch movies in 4k and surround sound.

am currently paying £11 for sky signature at the moment per month- Nothing is ever free with Sky, The way it works is you pay for the month and the following month you get credit on the account.
Annoying they put the onus on the customer to cancel. Why can't they just cancel it themselves?
