I applied the voucher for the Free 1 Month Now TV Sky Cinema Pass that I got from JD Williams Rewards to my account. I cancelled right away, and I got the offer for the free 3 months of the Entertainment pass, which I accepted. After checking the passes, I realized that I was actually going to be billed £3.20 in two months for the Entertainment pass (my current Ent. pass expires in May). So, I tried to cancel the Ent. pass, and that's how I got the offer for the free 3 months of the Cinema pass. Here the screenshots:40298439-IvlLj.jpg40298439-w5Pdu.jpg

I got an offer for a year half price but pay upfront for full year so not going to bother just now
What reason for cancellation did you use? I rarely seem to get an offer regardless of reason for cancellation for some reason and my subscriptions are due to be cancelled
That’s cheap, thanks for posting
How do you cancel the subscription??

I chose the 'nothing to watch' option

Very account specific. All I got in my posts is the boost or kids offers.
Just cancelled my movies and got the offer of 5.99 a month for 12 months
Into my last week of movies, so cancelled.
Offer was £7.19 per month...still cancelled.

I had the three months free Offer took it and also being charged the £3.20 amount. When I cancel that it doesn’t offer me anything else So I’m going to complain to them tomorrow and see what happens
Lucky you, I just got the usual crap offers!
lol - Because of the OP I just cancelled all my NowTV subscriptions (Movies and Entertainment) and wasn't offered anything

Feels weird that because of this deal, I no longer have NowTV
40300515-m2LjB.jpgI just cancelled my pass as it was due to expire 12th April, thought I‘d see if this would work for me... I got offered £7.19 for 3 months.

£21.57 for 3 months

Yes, £7.19 for 3 months. Perhaps I should have typed “per month for 3 months” for clarity but same difference.
With the cancellation options menu reasons can offer different prices... I remember when I cancelled mine a while back. In the menu of why 'cancel?' reasons... If you select you 'can't afford it' or 'too expensive' (if these are similar wording still offered?).. the app will try often (not guaranteed) try to offer you the service cheaper...maybe from 7.99 a month to 5.99 some of my friends have been offered 4.99. You can take the risk and decline the first reduced offer eg 7.99 to 5.99...again use the same reason you chose first...'can't afford it' 'too expensive' (again not guaranteed)...now tv app may try an even lower offer cost per month. I know of others who have turned down 3 offers and got it even cheaper, but there understandbly is an increased risk of being cancelled the further more offers you turn down eventually it will say ok 'cancellation accepted'!
The basis for doing this to pay what you feel its worth...if you save 3 or 4 quid per month it all helps.
Cheers, already had 1 month left on entertainment so went with movies this time.

Cancelled my entertainment and they offered 3 months entertainment for £1.80 a month, wasn't interested as have already watched everything I wanted so turned that down and was then offered 3 months movies for Free!!

Bonus!!!
I am on an offer, but not as good as my friend, so cancelled, but they didn’t offer me an improvement. Went through with the cancellation hoping that would get a better offer, but it didn’t - just confirmed my cancellation. However, it did then have he option to restart my subscription and when I selected this I was reinstated on the same discounted rate I was before. So if you do go through with a cancellation it looks like you don’t necessarily lose the deal you may already be on
I got 6 months cinema for free and posted it here a few days ago, yet mods moved it to discussions as it was email specific. So why is this permitted to be posted as a deal and mine is not Moderators? Why are you treating members differently with no consistency. Site is becoming a joke

The last episodes of the season have been delayed too, thanks to the virus. Perhaps a bit of irony there.

AHH yeah of course it will be, cheers for the info , we can only hope that were all back to normal soon with as little misery for people as possible, in the grand scale of things me missing a few episodes is of zero importance
I had an offer due to start yesterday so waited until it started to try this. But, discovered that the offer hadn’t begun, instead it said “failed payment”. Clicked on ‘cancel’ anyway to see what options it would give me... and it INSTANTLY cancelled my pass. Totally lost the offer that should’ve began yesterday and didn’t! No live chat available to help either!

Thanks Oscar. Think I’ve tried all options without success but will try this one which in current situation actually isn’t far from the truth

I cancelled with an offer which hadn’t yet started but when I tried out reinstate pass, it came up with the same off.

Did your account say “failed payment” when you cancelled, though? I don’t even know why mine said that when it should’ve already started a free month offer.
I was just about to cancel my £1 flash sale Entertainment as it finishes monday, got offered 3 months at £1.80 a month when I said I could not afford it.
I got the same Movies offer as the OP but when I checked I was being charged £4.80 a month for the movies!
there is a thread on the Now TV community called "3 months of Sky Cinema FREE. NOT!"
Double check your NowTV accounts. I too was offered 3 months free Entertainment, which I accepted. I went to check on my Cinema pass a few weeks later and found they had changed my offer so that I would be charged . I was then offered 3 months free Cinema by the system . This was due to start tomorrow. I went to check my passes today, and found I am going to be charged £4.80 per month for 3 months for "free" Cinema Pass . There is something desperately wrong with the system where it is changing free offers to chargeable without notification,in my case twice, and you can only contact them by filling in a form.
