The new Sky and Devialet partnership Soundbox is released on Nov 3rd with prices starting from £249 for Existing Sky Q Multiscreen subscribers.

£299 for other Sky customers and £799 for Non-Sky customers.

Early independent reviews are excellent and it is made by Devialet (who have won many accolades for their Devialet Phantom speaker costing £1,399 upwards). Reviews suggest that for £799 this is great value so for existing customers who can get it for £249, it's practically a steal for the quality on show!

Have pre-registered

Been waiting for this for ages, really hoping it lives up to expectations now..

Looks a must purchase (and possibly sell on ebay?)

No Dolby Atmos tho

And £250 can get you an amazing home cinema but £800 ha a decent atmos for that price.

Only one HDMI input so you can only connect your sky box, a shame as if it had 2 (ideally 3 though) id have bought this.

You can get it on 1st November of you pre-registered

Could you not use a splitter

Strange dimensions; not big enough to stand a tv on and a bit tall to stand in front of the tv. I'd really like to hear it but simply doesnt suit my tv furniture unless I stick it on an enclosed shelf under the tv. That would negate the side and rear firing speakers so pretty pointless.

Yeah, it’s a bit disappointing that, especially considering how much they’re mentioning Atmos on their UHD broadcasts.

Does it not arc the audio ?

Ie my sound bar goes direct into tv via hdmi and then all output from the tv no matter the hdmi feed comes out the sound bar ?

Supports optical in, so surely all sound from tv (providing your tv has optical out), regardless of source should play fine.. No hdmi switching required.. At least that's my understanding. Am I missing anything?

That's how I'll have mine. Whatever you are watching on the TV will go via Optical. 1st Nov I can order as pre-registered.

£799 to make it look better then it is.

No sub out RCA jack I take it?

No arc a deal breaker for me, real shame.

Ordered mine. Login to Sky account then go here:

Didn't realise it was available already. Kept thinking it was Friday for some reason! On it!

Live now

Ordered mine! Seems to have become unavailable now online. Have to call up. Probably OOS.

Had a text earlier saying there was a problem processing my order so I phoned up. She said there was a general system fault yesterday and she took payment over the phone for me which went through so check your orders I would.

Yeah I had the same. All sorted.

Just received and hooked up. Impressive sound for the price. Happy days!

Same here. Good for £249 although £799 would be a joke

I agree, it's no way worth that much. Probably half that.
