50% off sky tv for 12 months.

The link is for customers who have requested cancellation. I do not know if it would work for anyone else.

I tried last time this was posted, and went via live chat as the link didnt work.

They kept me hanging on the live chat for 30min + (trying to see what they could do) and came back with a derisory offer which itself tied you in for another 18mo!
I don't suppose this is for sky q customers?

Sorry to hear that.
Give this link a try. T's & C's say 'Offer available to customers taking a new 12 month minimum term.'

Did you still have an active subscription? I've tried to leave Sky a few times and on a couple of occasions got as far as the service being switched off before they come back with a deal I can't refuse. The really good deals generally don't even start to get offered until you're in your cancellation period and for some they don't come until after the service is switched off altogether.
I would hold out..

I got 75% discount in November
Mine ended 10 days ago, the only way I would go back is if they matched last years £20 a month for everything.
I got offered 40% off but with no contract. I can cancel when I want

I got offered the same. But didn't take. Was getting 75% off before and couldn't justify the difference.
Thanks for posting about this @gunnerzzz As i'm sure you can see, these retention offers can sometimes get a few cold votes as some get offered better deals and some get offered inferior.

Before we left Sky they went to 30%, held out for more and we fell onto our disconnection date with no better offer. So we went with Virgin (more expensive but an unbelievable cashback deal) and since then we get letters from Sky weekly offering 60-70%
I've never paid 50% or less, wait for a 60%, 75% or 50% with £100 credit etc. Might take a while but will come through eventually.

Using nowtv at the moment, costing about £10 a month with movies, entertainment and kids using eBay voichers, only thing I miss is 5.1 sound and the 3d channel, not sure if the extra £15 a month is worth it.
Just had ours cancelled, it went off yesterday. I do miss the record features & rewind/ pause etc. Best offer I have had so far is 40% off + £25 credit. Thats not good enough to get me back, I'll use IPTV for now.
I cancelled last year, a few weeks after had an offer to return with 60% off. Can cancel anytime too after negotiating on live chat.

If you’re cancelling I would recommend you wait for a few weeks if you want to return for a better offer. Worked for me over the last few years.
I got 60% off with no contract
I got 75% off for 12 months and £100 credit in December. But was two days after service ended, so you need to be brave and go through cancellation period and ignore all the crap offers.
Cancelled/disconnect in Dec... best offer I’ve had is £32.50pm full package.

I’m now on now tv,

Entertainment pass £6 3mths eBay
Sky movies £4pm (4mth deal)

Fails for me as well. tis the same link
just been on chat, he says the 50% offer isn't available now & offered 40% - I declined. Boxes arrived this morning in which to return the 2TB box & 1x Mini box but they don't have to be back until March according to the paperwork so I will hope for better offers to come as was on the 75% off rolling monthly contract.
I got 40% off a few months back after being 2 weeks away from cancellation. I think it largely depends on what you are subscribed to. I had TV only with sky sports & multiscreen. So mines £47.
If you have Broadband, mobile and all the channels then you get a bigger discount. I mean I can't see them trying to save someone who's on the basic package paying £30 a month.

Just my opinion.
I have been cancelled since mid Nov and nothing!!
Last week received a 50% off..How come?..Everyone else seems to get sky coming back to them after days

The most they offered was 50% and its been off since October! Gonna try again
Link works for me,but already took up a 50% offer via a similar link in September. So will wait until that's up before trying again.
I'm currently on 60% was offered it back in September last year. On sky box sets which works out about £12.50 a month.

I have got the full tv package £29.50 a month and they renewed it without me asking for 12 months in December and not tied in.

I have 75% off my bill, I rung sky to cancel and they said they wouldn’t match what I currently pay, so I said fine go ahead and cancel.

2 weeks later I got a phone call from Sky and said would I reconsider and I said only if I keep the same deal I currently have of 75% off my bill. The guy on the phone done the deal for another 12 months, but I didn’t get any credit like some people probably have done too.

I pay £21 a month for all channels, Sports and Movies.

To get the best deals off Sky you have to actually cancel, two weeks before your cancellation date they will call you back and give you a much better deal, don’t cancel through live chat or just to cancellations they will not give you a deal you want. Play the long game and you will get 75% off you just got to get them to panic and not panic yourself.
Cancelled in September, last month they offered me complete package (TV) for £20 for 12 months. I think actually going through with the cancellation makes a huge difference.

When was that, there is a dedicated thread and no one is getting even a look in at more than 60% since November unless you are one of the lucky people who got auto extensions. Let us know and we can use that in our next discussion, been able to get 70% myself but only if I sign up for 18 months which I am not going to do. Been cancelled since November, been doing this for 15 years and had four 75% in the last 6 years but never seen it as tough as it is now.

That's awful price to be honest. I was paying £30 a month for everything and cancelled as they wouldn't offer same rate again.
Sky packages have changed for new subscribers and (apparently) will change in few days for existing customers, much simpler to understand them.

Sky Entertainment | £20 setup fee | £20 a month
Sky has ditched the old format of multiple tiers of Sky TV packages to choose from. The Sky Entertainment pack is what every new customer will start with and it's only £20 a month. After clicking the link below, you'll also be able to add on extra channel add-on packs from just £5 a month (which works out cheaper than the old format and ensures you don't pay for extras you don't want). We've gone into details about each of the add-ons below too, so it might be worth having a read before heading over to Sky as its site can be a bit vague on the details. This pack includes a wide variety of dramas, comedies, documentaries, music and Sky Originals. Top channels include Sky One, Sky Atlantic, Nat Geo wild and more.

Sky TV in HD £5 a month
Sky TV Box Sets £5 a month
Sky Cinema £10 a month
Sky Sports Complete Pack £20 per month (18 month contract)
Sky Sports Complete Pack £27.50 per month (no contract), or get one channel for £18 or two for £22 a month

More details HERE
I recently phoned to cancel at the end of my first year and was given 40% off after a bit of persistence, but had to commit for 18 months. Wish I had called their bluff though after reading this thread! I was on the original bundle without broadband/phone so down from £20 to £12 per month.
This link is available to me and I'm not pending cancellation
