Just switched my broadband from PlusNet to SKY FIBRE with an awesome discount for only £16pm with line rental!
Also I was about to cancel my SKY TV which has SKY SPORTS Package but they offered me an awesome deal on that as well!!

Here’s the list of what they gave me with discount:

Sky Line Rental £9.99 [normal price £18.99]

Sky Broadband £6.01 [normal price £20]

Sky Talk Anytime £8

Sky Sports Pack £11 [normal price £27.50]

Sky Box Sets Pack £15.20 [normal price £38]

HD Channels Pack inc Sports HD £2 [normal price £6]

As you can see there are huge discounts so wether you’re an existing customer coming to an end of contract or looking for a new contract just call SKY and see if they can match the above or better!!

This is not the price for sky fibre. This is a bundle deal including TV.

Very good deal. I had the same which recently expired... The best retention deal was £94 per month!

So basically in total for FIBRE BROADBAND + SKY TALK + SKY TV + SPORTS/BOX SET Pack + HD = £52.20!

You can still call SKY up and ask for the discount as a new or existing customer and they should be able to give you the same price as above.

Unfortunately it doesn't work quite like that.. it's a lottery of who you speak to and what offers they claim to have access too. Have voted cold, sorry.

Wasn't offer the equivalent for TV yesterday when cancelling- they wanted double that which was a £24 discount off the supposed £80 I was heading towards!

As documented on the many Sky related posts on here, its a lottery depending on who you speak to.

I called Sky several times over the last 3 weeks threatening to leave.

I had phone & basic non fibre broadband, no movies, no sport, and no multiroom, but with the HD bolt on for ITV, Discovery etc etc.
And it was £76 a month (phone & BB part of that being £31.99).

Despite each call lasting over half an hour, the best I was getting was an upgrade to the slowest fibre for £25 a month, and only if I committed to another 18 months! (oh, and due to a quirk of my old HD package, Id lose my Sky F1 HD!)

So, Ive now signed up for the Vodafone unlimited 38meg fibre BB for £20 a month and zero line rental after being with Sky for nearly 10 years, and if my IPTV trials go okay, I will be cancelling my TV package.

I got this same fibre and phone deal, did not take much persuasion.

Not linked to TV deal either

That’s a shame if you couldn’t get the deal but for those that haven’t tried yet, there’s no losing out. Just call every day if u have to and see which rep gives the best deal.

Like I did.....till I gave up on disgust.

What phone number did you call?

I was previously with sky for 14 years. I was on a fairly basic package with a few bolt-ons and paying approximately £30 a month. After reading many many posts on here about getting a reduction by threatening to leave I gave them a call. Despite never ever missing a payment or calling with an issue, they just accepted my termination without offering anything. The best they could do to reduce my monthly bill was to remove my bolt-ons(!!!!). Nevertheless, I was moving house at the time and a new offer came out. I signed up for broadband, calls, sky q and box sets for £16. The 12 month period expired this month and it jumped up to £76. I called to cancel and again, all they could do was strip out some of the features like the phone and the boxsets to try and reduce the price, absolutely no reduction offered. It is also a complete nightmare trying to cancel, I was on hold for 45 minutes waiting for the retention department.

Just like you Jobarpm i had the same deal, expiring October.I cancelled via sms and after getting offered a few deals over the coarse of the day the 30 days notice goes ahead. After looking online when i got home the deals that were offered were either the same OR a few pounds per month cheaper. How can anyone be expected to pay a monthly sub that goes up 6 fold ?.Im not bothered if im without for a while its not the end of the world, i wont be held to ransom.

Those staying "it's a lottery with who you speak to" you talk utter garbage.

It was a promotion for a couple of weeks with regards to the Fibre Unlimited packages and up: £13.99 off. It's now changed to £8.99 off.
As for the line rental at £9.99, that's also still going.
Both of which requires active TV.

Some "lottery" that ae?...

Or you can just pay for line rental with free broadband and stream all the channels you want for free

I called sky on Tuesday 3rd and threatened to leave . Was offered deal to keep phone, sky fibre, sky movies and box sets as this helps with HD package. Was told £62.80 if I kept the same 6yr old equipment, Unfortunately I received a call back on Friday to be told a human error has occurred and it will actually cost £70.80. I explained I have a subscriber for over 18yrs+ (including a different address) but their records apparently don't reflect this so not happy at all and told them to cancel the contract..

I would like to get this deal without the Sky Box sets £15.20.
Do you know the best number to get in contact with Sky please?
Voted hot also! Thanks!

How do you use nhs discounts with sky ? I phoned them tonight and they new nothing about it

I'm 4 days away from it being switched off after canx not paid for 26 months and the longest I've been off was 2 months

I tried to get this deal but they wanted a photo of the entire letter - any chance?

I don’t have the letter any more as it’s long gone. But why would they want the entire letter? The photos should suffice.

Look on blue light card. There’s a company on there called abca or something like that and they offer discounted sky. It’s not amazing but better than the deals on their website
