Hi

Had a leaflet through the post for Sky Fibre Unlimited half price for 6 months that's £10 a month which after 6 months will go upto £20

What's more u won't have to pay activation fee, saving a further £50

This is for new and existing customers keeping/taking Sky Talk, £14.50 Sky Line Rental applies or u could pay upfront like I did and get 12 months rental for £119.40

I thought it was a great deal myself as I upgraded from standard to fibre.
This is by phone only did try online but it didn't show.
The number on the leaflet is 08442 414 574 offer ends 4th October 2013. Number is free to call for sky talk customers

The offer is also available here online so can get cash back etc

With them just now but my deal runs out next month so I phoned to see what they were offering? They basically offered me the OP's deal plus a free YouView box. Not sure if that makes a difference to peoples votes though.

Pretty sure new customers to sky get 6 months free then pay after.

The offer is here online

To get £3.75 a month for twelve month unlimited + Sky Line Rental (£14.50 a month)
Do we bound to take Sky TV (from £21.50 a month) or not ?

If NOT then it is definitely hot .....

But If YES the it is frozen cold .... Not many people want to pay £21.50 a month for a TV package ....

I just have a chat with them.
To get this price you will HAVE TO take the TV package ...
£21.50 a month for TV no way ....

I understand now why people voted it cold ..

That's if you want standard broadband for £3.75. Fibre broadband for £10 for 6 months is only reliant on you having Sky line rental at £14.50 per month, no TV required.

Quidco have £125 cashback for existing customers and 6 months for £10, but when I go through quidco the monthly fee on the Sky page when I add to basket is £20 per month and also £50 one-off activation fee. Would be nice to get the cashback and no activation fee. Might have to ring Sky tomorrow, Quidco ends tomorrow as well.

They are bad at broadband! Don't trust them

sky are ar$3holes. they told me i would get fibrebroadband at the skyshop at a shopping centre, they even verified my line and address etc on their systems online. took my order for multiroom sky TV (the full works including HD and 3D moviews, sports etc) and moved my phone line to sky and said broadband will be installed. after phone line moved to sky then was told cant get fibrebroadband. when i tried to cancel they said cant cancel as have 1y contract for phone and will have to pay 1y rental before moving. see loads of similar stories online. Voice record your entire conversation by putting phone on speaker if you place an order. they are scamming people by saying you can get fibrebroadband and once move phoneline to sky some are told cant get fibrebroadband even if BT will provide fibrebroadband on same line (BT do the installation for sky fibrebroadband). Only after recording call and loads of hassles for a few weeks did they agree to cancel contract without penalty and i moved back to BT and got fibrebroadband with BT infinity2 unlimited for about 20£ (3m free) and get speeds of 67 to 70mbps from BT (unlimited) when sky on the same line said i cant get fibre after scamming me to join sky by saying i would get fibre broadband.

Voice record your call with sky while placing order if you decice to go ahead with this. see enough posts online where others have been scammed by sky saying will provide fibrebroadband but after moving line to sky some are told no fibrebroadband but they will insist you pay 12m fees if you want to move line to BT to get fibre. Never going back to the scamsters even if they give it free. Not worth the hassles they give.

Only thing is, Sky are the second biggest bumholes next to talktalk, had an easier time getting out of a contract written in blood in an exchange for my soul with the devil.

But I think Mr.Branson is a high level demon so getting out of this Virgin Media contract when it expires will porolly be harder still, especially if our phone/net doesn't work most of the time.

My TV package was coming to the end of its contract so rang up for any deals. Was offered free unlimited broadband for 12 months (even though the broadband was half way in its contract and about to be charged for it). Always best ringing up with Sky.
