You can upgrade to Fibre Unlimited which is a 12 Month Contract (from today) for £10 a month for 12 months (then £20 a month after contract has exprired). However quidco are offering an amazing £110 cashback (assuming it tracks etc) when existing customers upgrade to Fibre which makes this £10 for the entire year of Fibre!

OR

If your an ultra low user you could sign upto the Standard Sky Fibre which has a 25GB limit but is free for 12 Months and pocket the £110 quidco cashback!

This is a great deal if like me you've just signed upto Sky ADSL+ through the recent moneysavingexpert deal and basically get free line rental! It might mean they consider the upgrade to be part the way through the existing month so it could mean paying for an extra month line rental at the end of the contract.

Of course this is going to mean a reset if your already in contract with sky for Line Rental but if you've paying for ADSL its a fantasic deal.

The Quidco Expires in 6 Days.

I'd say better to phone up and have a friendly chat. I recently did and was very simple to get a years free line rental using their "line rental saver" option and even managed to agree fibre down to £7.50 a month for a year for unlimited.

Don't you just get it discounted so still have to pay the line rental?

Always need to read terms and conditions with SKy - Cashback exclusions includes the following:

•Cashback is not paid to Existing Broadband customers upgrading to Broadband Unlimited, Fibre or Fibre Unlimited.

But it clearly shows on the quidco site under offers for existing customers

quidco.com/sky…ted

Edit / Ah wait does it mean only if your a sky TV customer upgrading to Fibre can you get the cashback?

Not a good deal, as per other comments ring up & have a chat. I now pay £7 a month less for super fibre unlimited than my ordinary broadband

I'm sorry guys.

I missed in the quidco conditions:

Cashback is not paid to Existing Broadband customers upgrading to Broadband Unlimited, Fibre or Fibre Unlimited.

As myflumps correctly pointed out.

So I will expire this, I thought it was too good to be true... its still a good deal for anyone paying £7.50 a month for ADSL as its only £2.50 for unlimited fibre.

As others have said, phone up. I get the unlimited fibre for £5, and line rental for £10. Even managed to get 40% off my TV package. Was on the call for over an hour, but worth it in the end. I was still in contract, and blagged it. Mentioned cashback, and better deals for new customers at the time. Even mentioned the free Sainsbury's giftcard BT offered new customers.

Agree call up I did for my adsl, can't get fibre and don't rally need it, was offered free broadband and half price line rental so 8.40 a month was on the phone to them for all of 10 mins

Is it not minimum 18 months contract?

Clearly says "New 12 month contract"

last year i took up the unlimited fibre deal but the contract was 18 months where i pay £10 a month for first 12 months then £20 for the next 6 months. my line rental is £10 a month. at the end of this month i will be on 12 months which means next 6 months im gonna have to be paying £20 a month for 6 more months. is it possible for them to carry this on as £10 a month or do i have to abide by this contract? would it be worthwhile to blag it and mention that they are already offering it for £10 a month for 12 months?

As far as I'm aware the 12 months would only apply to new customers. You could call and ask Sky but I expect they will advise that as your contract was made before the change you will need to pay the £20 a month until your contract ends I'm afraid.

Discounted to £0 a month for line rental, in total i pay £7.50 a month for fibre unlimited all in.

Crap 25gb and Sky never ever payout through Quick or any other offers

Odd. I've had around 9 payouts from Sky via Quidco / TCB over the years. Never has anything decline that was a genuine transaction.

not bad, i got fibre pro for free

When you called how did you go bringing about the conversation about getting reductions? Were you already on fibre?

I had about 5 months left on my contact at £10 a month for line rental, and free broadband. Told them I wanted to pay up the rest of my contract as I wanted to move to BT, as they had their unlimited fibre for £10 a month at the time. Also mentioned the £100 or so cashback at the time, and £125 Sainsbury's giftcard. Told them it would more or less cover the cost of the fibre with BT over the 12 months of the contract. They offered a credit on my account, or a reduction on the TV package, but not both. The reduction worked out better.

Just upgraded to Sky fibre (25gb usage limit) for free, with free activation. Via chat. Half price line rental offer remains in place.

Original Poster

Ok great, does the £100 credit remain also?

I've just done it I got unlimited fibre and free activation (whatever that is ) all in for £16.40 a month I'm happy with that on a 12 month deal

Went on chat they offered line rental at £6.40 for 12 months and fibre upgrade unlimited for £10 for 12 months on a 12 month contract total £16.40 , just haggle with them it wasn't the 1st deal they offered

Original Poster

Ok well I could not upgrade mine online so could not even try Quidco as it does not show its available to order on the website.

I spoke to someone about a week ago and was advised they could do nothing on the activation cost of £30 or the £10 a month for 12 months for Fibre Unlimited as its already an offer.

But called tonight and was advised they have to charge me the £30 activation cost but will credit it back to the account

So I've got 12 Months Unlimited Fibre for £120 as I signed upto Sky ADSL+ through the recent moneysavingexpert deal and basically get free line rental! It might mean they consider the upgrade to be part the way through the existing month so it could mean paying for an extra month line rental at the end of the contract but still I'm happy
