I was still in contract with fibre for another 6 months so when I rang they agreed to a new fibre deal of £10.00 + £17.40 line rental for 12 months

miss the sky+ features wished they rolled that out to everyone - the sky store bit i never understood as they are actually stopping me buying/renting

For free ? Not at all really..... Sky always take you to the cleaners

Just a by the way re-Sky BB only.... We use Sky BB only, that means no Sky TV etc.. We pay the basic BB only price and have enquired about a price reduction after reading several Sky BB deals on this site. The Sky rep stated that because we paid for BB only there was no room for a reduction. We informed them that we were ringing.enquiring about a reduction after reading about others on here who said that they had received a price reduction for their Sky BB.
The rep stated that they were some what irked at people stating on this site that they had received a reduction but that they were not telling the full story! If a customer has Sky TV etc then there is often room for negotiating a reduction, simply because there is a bit of fat to play with ( so to speak ).

I cancelled my Sky TV package in September, ending start of October, and went Freesat. Miss sky a bit, but not the bills. I stayed with fibre broadband, and got them to go down to £10 plus line rental, and voicemail. So, yes, they can negotiate if they want to on just the broadband package. I just said I didn't want to talk about my TV cancellation at the time.

The other interesting thing is that I only ever received the one offer of reduced price TV through the post, and none by e-mail. No phone calls either.

You could try contacting sky on the number 03442411740 its the win back team and tell them a friend has got this deal
