Hi all,

I havent seen this posted yet, but apologies if it is.

Currently, there are three promotions running to do with Sky, when the HD pack is taken out:
- Quidco is giving £100 cashback
- Sky is giving £25 M&S voucher
- Sky is giving free box and installation

The basic package is Sky Broadband, SkyTalk, HD channels plus any one entertainment pack - this comes in as £28 per month.

Zero up front fee, due to free HD Sky Plus box, and free installation.

Over the year, this is £336 - however, you can then take off the £125, which gives you £211 - or £17.58 per month.

I think this is a pretty scorching deal for new customers!

(Can someone add an image in for me please?)

very heavenly reliant on cash back though , hot if it comes off but dont bank on cashback to much

Absolutely.

I am only going for it because with the voucher, free box and free install its still a cracking deal.

Always, Always get Virgin if you can, if you are a cabled area. Once you have had Virgin you will never go back to Sky.

I am stuck with Sky now no cable :-(

had virgin terrible so gone back to sky

I had Virgin too, & hated the company. Terrible to deal with & everytime they called with a new offer, they lied about the costs. I chose to have no premium TV than use them. I'll have a look at this deal to see if it tempts me back.

been with sky for well over 20 YEARS..... been on the phone all afternoon to different sky operators trying to upgrade to the HDbox . they wont budge and this was the lowest quote i got . they want £60 instalation and£10 extra a month for the hd pack . no recognition of loyalty whatsoever from sky . you newbies grab this offer as its a cracking deal

In a cabled area, but got Sky.
Virgin r cr4p

I posted the same deal so it got removed but it's important to point out that the 100 pounds quidco is only if you take out the HD+ starter pack which is 28 pounds per month.

The 18 pounds per month package will only pay out 20 pounds.

I have said that in the post

oh yeah. I see now.

I think this is an awesome deal.

I've taken it up even though I don't have an HD TV because I really want SKY plus and will probably buy a new tv soon.

We tried the same and when they didn't budge on the price we asked for cancel the contract - we were then put through to a much more sympathetic staff member in customer services who arranged to waive the £60 install fee - still have to pay the extra £10 a month for the HD subscription though (min 12 month subscription). Always mention you want to cancel and you seem to be taken a bit more seriously!

Are you mad I've had a V+ or TV drive or what ever its called now since it first came out and its the biggest load of rubbish ive ever come across I'm on my 8th box there's no HD channels and the customer service cant speak English I swapped from a Sky setup for virgin and if it wasn't for my cheap 50mb broadband being reliant on the Package it would of been gone when it was still blueyonder.

I doubt you would be saying that if you actually had Virgin, the prices are through the roof they don't get half the channels that Sky has the only thing that's good about Virgin is the fact you can get the fastest Broadband in the country with them (when its not playing up which it is usually), that's if you take the 50mb but they sell you that by robbing everyone under 50mb with capped usage for 18 hours of the day.

As for True on demand TV well yeah that's because there's nothing to watch and the on demand is very rarely changed and you can get that online anyway with iplayer and the other on demand services with sky you can view it on a computer if you have a account. I have signed up to have Sky back, they are coming Thursday to fit my free HD box for free and are then giving me half price for which ever package i choose for an entire year with the HD pack costing £0 so £133 for a full year of Sky with the entertainment package in HD and its tracked in quidco at a £100 and i should get my M&S £25 gift voucher so its free and i will keep my V+ and move that upstairs on the 11th month i will make the decision on which one I'm getting rid of.

Seeing as the other Sky deal has gone live again - this is now baltic! lol

If you are an existing sky customer - is there any way that you can get some of the better deals out there? I'm getting rather irate that everything seems to be for new customers only.

thank you

I did this deal last March last year and i'm still waiting for my £100 cash back from Quidco!!!!!!

I`ve had £120 validated for Sky via Quidco since the 28th Feb 2009!! Still no sign of payment.

Quidco have responded with "We are currently experiencing delays with payment of Sky transactions due to their affiliate network being behind with their processing, and we are working hard with them to rectify the situation. Be assured that we will continue to do so until the issue is resolved for all members affected by this delay."

Thats one hell of a delay.
