Sky Mobile 10GB £10 Unlimited calls & texts (Sim Only 12 Months) £120

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Seems a top deal with piggybanking data & free tv streaming as well (for tv subscribers). £20 on topcashback too.

Called them up and the offer extends to non tv subscribers as well if you call (though may lose the TCB £20) My gf is wanting to switch too, so still trying to figure out a way we could claim the bonus on both our TCB accounts (but maybe thats milking it too much )

Edit: Spoke to Sky again through messenger, seems the deal is up to 5 sim cards under one active Sky account will benefit from the unlimited calls & texts. For new accounts the cost is an additional £10 per month (but again calling I was told the offer is for everyone but only if you call) so probably worth giving them a bell instead if you are not already with sky. Mention the TCB as well and see if they can do anything for you as I was told they might be able to do it at their end.

Just to clarify if you go through the signup online (and you are not the account holder) it will give you the option to create a new account - detailing in small print that doesn't benefit from the unlimited calls & texts. Rep said they weren't advertising it, but by calling creating a new account through a phone signup it WILL give you these benefits. Thats the sticking point I'm trying to get around with getting two TCB bonuses (for two signups) so if anyone has managed it, please let me know how!

Is there a good reception from sky mobile? I'm with virgin and it's not too bad but thinking of moving daughters.

They use O2's masts I believe, so you can check the coverage map with them. I've been with them for the last 2 years and its been fine for me most places in the north (apart from trips out to places like the yorkshire dales - where noone seems to get a decent signal!)
Cant see on site does this carry unused data over?
You can also get 3GB for £12 if you don’t need so much data! (?)

Thats what I didn't understand when I checked the prices this morning! Not sure if they hiked the price for 3GB as well just to make this one look sweeter, but I guess with the piggybank if you don't use so much you can bank it all for more rewards.

I work from home so rarely use more than 1-2GB a month unless I'm going anywhere, so hopefully will bank a fair bit of it!

I was told it does, it uses the piggybank (through their app) so any unsed data gets stored there and you can reassign it manually or save it for rewards (things like phone cases & discounts etc I think) Haven't been with Sky before for mobile so someone else maybe able to explain it better.

Yeah! So any leftover data gets stored up in your Piggy Bank, then if you use up your data one month you can grab some out of your Piggy Bank so you can keep on internetting!

Saved up data expires 3 years after it's been added to the Piggy Bank.

You can also trade-in your Piggy Bank data for money off accessories or device contracts.

I've been with Sky Mobile since March and they've been great. Support is easy to get in touch with on the phone or on text or Facebook Messenger, which I've found really handy
You can also switch up your data mid-contract with no fuss! You can go up or down super easily using the app or the website. I've literally just done it to get onto this deal
So for non-sky customers, it's £20/m?

Not if you call, online say one thing calling gives you another price. Both myself and my gf have just signed up through calling (her under our existing tv package, myself on a new account - both for £10 each) Benefit being I get my own data piggybank & app access. (If its under one account it will be shared & can only be administered by the account holder) Only caveat being I may need to log in under her credentials to get the free tv streaming, (though they said as my email address is currently still linked - it should still work)

They said that they've been offering the unlimited calls and texts for new customers over the phone for the past few months. Online support play naive to it so better just to call (but lose out on the cashback).

Sky haven't made this as simple as it probably should be, but looking at other deals seems to be the best at the moment for that amount of data, calls & text. Even ID mobile are charging £13 for 10GB and thats on offer from a usual £14. Virgin have a similar deal atm I think, but 5000 minutes at £10, so this looks to be a response to it.

Does WiFi calling work with sky mobile

Does WiFi calling work with sky mobile

sky.com/hel…ing says here it does, though only on some handsets (that maybe out of date though). I also asked if the tv free streaming would work if you used your phone as a hotspot, but it wont - only to the device with the sim (which I guess makes fair sense)

It does work as hotspot not just where sim is in. Just not on streaming devices.
.
@woldranger made me think on his post on same offer as this (£40 for 50gb / £20 for 50gb) is this really any good. When can get £12 for 10gb with giffgaff, 8gb and unlimited social/data on voxi, £10 for 6 months and than £20 for unlimited on three, etc etc...
So with piggy bank if you use5gb per month then you can save 60gb to be used in one month . I caravan during the summertime so use more data then so this looks quite good if I can do that

Yes you can but u can also sign up to to 50gb for £40 and than downgrade to low tariff when bank enough data. Many ppl do that. The data is bank to be able to be reclaim any time within 3 year period.

Yes,

You can move/use however much you have saved in your piggybank anytime upto 3 years later. Be frugal for a few months then splash out another (that's what we do)

Think how good a deal it is depends on what people use really. I doubt I would ever use anything like 50gb (Im averaging about 1.5gb as Im mostly on wifi) So can just bank the extra and save it for holiday months when I have gone over a few times. None of the main operators seem to be able to match anything like this. O2 didnt even put up a fight when I said I was leaving. Told them my reasons and they had little to say other than phones are more expensive now, and we cant match that offer.

In my case I'm on a Note 8 currently at £29 per month with 2gb unlimited calls and texts. Even had to put down about £300 to get it to that price nearly two years ago. Only phone worth upgrading to for me would be the Note 10 which at cheapest when putting down £300 is coming out at over £50 on any network. Crazy prices. Will stick with sim only for now then maybe buy a note 10 outright if & when the price drops

Nice tip, what are the piggybank rewards like, Im guessing nothing too special? I'll see how I go on, but may even downgrade when the offer is right if banking so much data yields little reward I presume the device discounts are for contract only and not outright prices? I will need a new phone at some point but not keen on how sky handle their device contracts
Am getting 12gb 6 pounds because I have their tv.. you only get these deals if you text them...
Just upgraded my 8gb deal to this new 10gb deal for zero difference in price. Nice one

The discount is off the outright buying price we were looking at redeeming some data to get note 10. Can use I think 10gb for £10 sky voucher, 20gb to get £25 off 256gb Microsd etc.. the data to off figure changes all the time.

Depending if you are bt broadband customer or not (if are makes it about £13 if not £18) can also look at this if EE good in areas concern.

hotukdeals.com/dea…785

Give u 100gb a month every month, extra speed unlimited minutes, sms, BT wifi, BT sports. So have plenty of data each month for little more.
Looks like a great deal. If I tether tablets to my phone, can I make use of the free Sky Go streaming through the tablets? Or will that only work when viewing on the phone?

Nowhere as good as BT, I switched for rolling data and will revert back after 12 months. Rather pay extra for a quality signal.

One of the first things I asked last week! I was tempted originally to get one of their tablet deals (because these also include minutes and text apparently) and just use the sim in my phone. Sadly they said the free streaming will only work on the sim device and not through using as a hotspot. (I guess tracking which device is using it would be tricky that way to stop it being abused). I think it still works by swapping the sim to another device if your tablet/s have cellular though

Surely that just depends on where you are & how much travelling you do? I've been on O2 using the same masts and the only place where I drop any sort of coverage is way out in the country. (Somewhere like Malham for example where noone gets a signal). Rest of the time I've been pretty much always on 4g

But o2 is slower than EE in many places and depending what he doing that speed might be different if he can watch footie or not say

Good point. Not sure what cellular speeds should be expected these days to be honest. Guess this is only relevant to me or anyone else living on my street but thought I'd do a speedtest out of interest. Faster than my fiber so I'll take it! 38455411-4sbRe.jpg

Appears to be valid for existing Sky Mobile customers, which is nice. New 12 month minimum term required.
Thank you, I have 25% discount from last year and was on 8gb for £7.50, now 10gb for £7.50!!!!
Thanks OP, currently paying £5 for 8gb, just changed to this at no extra cost.
Anyone that has a sim only with sky can move to this deal either online,my sky app or call centre and it does not tie you into a new contract
