Didn’t you know HUKD members are part of Anti-Sky Brigade.

I despise Murdoch but I can’t fault the customer services at Sky, they do a good job.

Rigggggggght...... Why?

This is run on the o2 network, all sky do is bill you.
Heat - Sky (Broadband, Phone, Mobile and TV) have been good for me.
I used to be on O2, moved to Sky, no issues apart from missing Wi-fi calling. But Sky have that now too. Couldn’t be happier.

Agree 100%

Exceptional and utterly complex insight as to why the company is so 'awful'.
Sky are not too dissimilar from the Romans.
They came here when only 4 channels of TV were available, pumped masses of money into it (losing £2m a week at one stage) and gave us a choice of premium TV.
Sky then completely changed the face of our football, making it the most watched league in the world ..... and still is

You are completely wrong when I state that Sky single-handedly changed the TV in this country

The only thing I disagree with is this:
If I pay the BBC to not show me adverts;
And ITV, C4 and C5 (even Google) don't get my money and show me adverts;
Why does Sky want both my money and show me adverts?

They misold a 'free fibre' broadband upgrade to me. I knew it was going to be an 18 month broadband contract, but didn't know they were also putting the TV on a 18 month contract. After 12 months the 'discount' period ended on the TV and I had to pay £95 a month for 6 months for a mediocre service. Never again.
The deal isn’t showing for me unfortunately
Sky is a virtual network operator using O2, I am with Plusnet and to be honest, all operators are the same until you have a problem, so it boils down to price with all of them, Sky offer the cheapest way to get mobile phones, and they are currently offering the best deals with data, so are a win win for me. I can handle bad service if it saves money, as long as the product works as it should.

They're truly and surely scammers, conned twice by their sales team, was sold a cheaper tariff with heavy discounts as a returning customer both times had to chase them to get it honoured, left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing.

Worst customers service experience and headache.

All first hand experience within last two years.

Their sales team apply hard sales techniques as they're commissioned on every sales contract they make over the phone.

Biggest con artist are their sales representatives in shopping malls, once took my details and had many contracts sold on single credit card details, that was in 2008, so historically they're crooks.
I call bu**sh$t .sky have been very good to me as ex military I have PTSD and I explained I needed to drop my Bill's and they did it without question great service and great customer service.
A fantastic company.

Time and again I get both a great service and deal from them.

I have a family member who struggles to get around an

Many mobile networks piggy back on one of the main ones. Tesco and Giffgaff also use O2

They are separate contracts unless they explicitly said in the email confirming 18m and you had a cancellation period
They also do 20gb for 10 pounds
If it does not work message them for the offer on +447786200623 and ask for the SIM only deal with 50% off....
You have to be patient could wait up to 5/6 minutes for a reply its not instant

Just message them on +447786200623 and ask for the deal either 20gb for 10 pounds or 40gb for 15 pounds...
I was with EE for around 6 years and moved to Sky back in October. Can’t fault them so far and I seem to get more data every month with all the offers they’re running - started with 2GB and now I’m on 12GB for the same amount I was originally paying.
Plus the kids have a £3 SIM card each which is unlimited texts and calls and 2GB data every month - can’t fault it for peace of mind when they go out!
Won’t go back to EE anytime soon - they’re contracts are a rip off these days and Vodafone’s signal is terrible! See me sticking with Sky for the foreseeable future whilst they keep providing a good service and fantastic deals!

Relevance to this offer? This is about a mobile deal not a Broadband / TV gripe. If you were mis-sold something there are surely ways to deal with it other than been bitter and posting irrelevant comments on valid deal threads?
Edited by: "elbow777" 30th Jun
yep, sky mobile awful company. even after seeing the deal, wont honor it.
I cannot find this deal anywhere on my account? Is this for contract customers or PAYG?
Let's all get IPTV and crappy Library airtime (or whatever it is). Then when Sky and major carriers go t**s up because no one is buying their product, we can all go mad about that as well.
"Ohhh it's too expensive" The self same people go out and spend £1000 on an iPhone that costs under £160 to make

It's like moaning about the weather and we want a good summer. When the sun comes along at 30+ degrees ..... we MOAN ABOUT THAT AS WELL

Some miserable people about
Do they do 8gb for £5 (normally £10)
