For sky TV customers sky have offered me half price sim only. 4gb data £6.50 or 5gb data 7.50. After discussing deals lady phoned back with this. Apparently starting next week but she gave it me now.

Unlimited texts and calls, also skygo extra free. (download programme from sky to your phone to watch later)

was only on a £5 contract, now its £3.75 lol
Are download speeds limited? And what’s their service quality like?
That's amazing pricing. If this offer does start next week, they've got a customer here.
I wouldn't bother runs on crap network

I’m quite satisfied with the O2 network personally.

They are OK but not for decent 4g speed if your fine with that then it's good

Decent! I'm gonna try webchat tomorrow.

Been paying £10 a month for 10gb, which has now come to an end.
Do you get Chromecast and if you don't can you operate the sky go on anything other than the phone the SIM is on. If not can you put the SIM in a 4g tablet and watch skygo that way
Awful network

This is for sky tv customers who all have sky go for free anyway. On any device
Sky go is only for use on up to 2 devices. Sky go extra is just for your phone so you can still have 2 other devices. Sky go extra also let's you download to your device so you can watch later.
Shame it's on O2 or I would've switched my Mother's contract - poor signal coverage near me. I have to gloss over any O2 or Voda offers

Wow, you went from crap to OK and then good in minutes. Also didn’t manage to mention the network they piggy back off, how useful.
Added heat as I think this seems to be a great deal if true
O2 is easily the best network in the UK.
What backwater locations are we talking about when Vodafone and O2 can't do the job?

Anywhere round where I live. I don't know anyone on O2. I was with Vodafone but left because everything about them, including coverage, was garbage.

Just got through, To Evan, to enquire for my wife, leaving O2, and was told all Sky deals start on a Friday and no plans for a 50% off deal starting tomorrow.

Everywhere O2 is a slow network, sometimes quite patchy too.

As networks go they are the best in the UK for coverage, as said what backwater location are you living in?
They aren't slow either, your phone would have more to do with the speed than the network...
I've personally used/use EE, Three and O2 hate to say it but EE the best/fastest, Three a close second and O2 is the worst/slowest. Do you work for O2 or something.
This seems good but we are not with Sky
No luck sun 12th, closest I was given was 2gb for £6.

They said a different offer was available for those who were upgrading something else eg. Tv package, broadband, etc.
I’m with o2 and was offered £4.50 from Sky.....for 0.5gb data lol this one is much better for me.

Does anyone know if you can switch to this deal if you already are on another sky mobile package? Or is it new mobile customers only? Never mind - ordered 2 new sims with this deal cheers OP!

Sorry I got the £6 for 2gb which is still better than 0.5gb not the OPs deal.
People asking how I got deal - I got it when I phoned to compare broadband prices as im with Bt. I didnt take the broadband only enquired and then asked if there was anything on offer to get my prices of tv down. They asked if I was interested in sky mobile but it wasn't as cheap as who im with. Lady phoned me back later to say she'd just heard about above deal and so I took it
Update:

Yesterday I received a call out of the blue from Sky after regularly checking the deals webpage while logged in and calling them about it and quoting this deal. Before they only gave me the 2GB deal but this time they offered this deal for a new sim.

edit:

They also offered me 25% off the 10GB plan.
