Top deal, particularly if you want/need to be on the o2 network, which is what Sky uses. I’m paying this for 8GB and I thought that was pretty good. With Sky you get data roll-over, so any excess data is stored in a virtual piggybank, which you can transfer to yourself or other sims on your account at any time via the app

Shame it’s still £15 for existing customers, it’s excluded from monthly mix

Doesn't look like you have to be a customer

I've tried to get this deal (not a sky customer) in the past and received to conformation email then told I can't have it.

Same thing has happened to a few people I know who have tried to get his deal unfortunately.
In my experience they have been quite selective on who they give this deal to which is a shame because it a great deal.

But then again lots of (non sky customers) have had success in getting this good deal.
Couldn't get sky mobile data to work abroad on my xaomi android phone. Helpline tried all sorts of changes to my settings but still no joy. Thankfully found out within 31 days cooling off period so was able to leave. Appears to be quite common on forums and helpline didn't appear it was a one off. Phone calls worked fine just no data

Did you find out why or if it was an issue using sky.mobile.on a Xiaomi phone? Because they include roaming

Think it was just make of phone , got quite technical talking me through changing all sorts of things on my phone I didn't even know existed. Just wouldn't hook up with any 4g signal abroad and I tried all carriers abroad, as I found out you can on your phone
Nothing beats the smarty unlimited data plan no contract, have it in a router as home broadband

I had the exact same problem. Went through a step by step help page on the Sky website and it said they had to resend the network settings. Still didn’t work until 2 days later, but was only 3G and not 4G.

I'm only glad I found out within my cooling off period. It'd be a nuisance if you only found out when you went on holiday in the summertime. It works fine in the UK just not abroad which is where I needed it for Google maps and banking . But without 4g you're reliant on getting places with WiFi
The only negative to Sky is their roaming offer isn’t the best. Countries like IoM, Jersey and Switzerland aren’t included.
This is also the case for some other “budget” MVNO’s - Virgin also miss some key countries but Smarty and Tesco tend to offer more roaming destinations. Just one to be aware of... although I do have this same plan on Sky which I got last year!

I don't think Sky mobile cashback tracks straight away.. i ordered a sim last week and nothing tracked yet, another I ordered about a year ago I had to raise a claim on Quidco as it didn't track

It's tracked at £30 for me (within 10 mins of ordering), will hopefully get corrected after a few days!

Currently on 8gb for 6.50 after my initial offer when sky doubled your data ran out .Pretty easy to get good deals as existing customer when your deal runs out .
As per other customers I initially had no data in Spain but after calls to tech dept they told me to find the sky menu widget and make sure it was on abroad and reboot phone .Mine was stuck on Home hence could not connect .
Apologies if your did try this without success but worked for me on s9 plus.

This does if like me smarty is rubbish in your area. As good as a deal it maybe it's no good if you can't use it.
The cashback for that deal is £30 on Quidco and £25 on TopCashback. Quidco is very confusing as on top it shows that deal and it states it's UP TO £70 cashback but when you scroll down it tells you the actual rate for that deal is £30. You will only get £70 for some phone contacts.

Unless Three are terrible in your area, then any other network beats it, the deal is brilliant if it works
If you want to be with network that uses O2 Tesco Mobile £12 for 10GB data works out cheaper as TopCashback will give you £90 tescomobile.com/sho…cts

I'm in Switzerland ATM and have turned the sky sim off, using a three data sim instead.
The reason being, sky doesn't include Switzerland as a roam like home destination, whereas three do.
Being in Switzerland I need that saving!

It's true but if 10GB data is more than enough for you then you effectively end up paying only £4.50 per month for Tesco deal comparing to £7.50 for Sky deal. That of course if cashback tracks and gets paid for either providers. When I was with Tesco Mobile I also liked their customer service which was really good.

I'm even more glad I went back to three as going to do the TMB in the summer. It'd be a
bit of shock arriving their and relying on data for everything and having none
Do you know how long this deal is for?
I signed up for this deal when it was last available in October. Quidco was £50 then which has tracked but is yet to Confirm. Which is worrying cause I had issues with Sky cashback last time.

If you're within cooling off period you can cancel and try to go through TCB. It's a bit of a hassle but potential 90 quid in your pocket.

You also get to watch sky go on your phone without using your data!!!! Obvs you have to actually have sky tv to do so
I've used this with my Xaomi pocophone abroad without issues. When I first switched to Sky, the data didn't work and had to play around with some of the setting (can't remember which ones, too long ago), but all working fine now
I'm getting 20gb for 12.50pm until March, I doubt I'll ever see such a burster of a deal again. Have over 100gb of data piggy banked, does anyone happen to know if I can roll that into my next sim only with Sky?
