Sky multiroom £2.50

Found 22nd Jun 2013
I got a flier through the door offering me multiroom for only £2.50 a month. When i phoned up to ask about it she said that an additional hd box would be £300 but after putting me on hold to check she said it would be free with free installation (normally £65). The only down side was i can't cancel sky for 12 months but wasn't intending to canel any time soon any way.

What package do you have? I might be interested in this but only have basic and HD pack

i got a flyer too offering half price broadband for being a loyal customer . got a great deal on sky movies too when I was on to them getting the broadband deal

Never seem to get offers like this, may phone up. Thanks for details.

what number do you ring and is there a quote number on the flyer?

I was offered Sky Movies and Sky Sports at £10 a month for six months. Decided against it as I don't get chance to watch them, but the deal may be of interest to someone.

I have the tv package with movies sports and HD but no b'band or phone services. I was on a 6 month £9 reduction on my bill as well when i phoned that was due to expire 20th of July, the girl cancelled that and re applied it for another 3 months. Not sure if you'd get box free as you only have the basic package. Hope some of this was useful!

Any chance op could scan the flyer? I would be rally interested in this.

i just called and they offered me this deal for 12 months! great thanks

I've got the whole shebang hd pack with sports and movies for half price for 12 months. Not sure if they'll let me have this too

Just phoned them and because this offer is not on my account I can't have it.
The only thing they could offer was a plain hd box (WHICH DOESN'T RECORD) with free installation but would cost me an extra £10.25 a month.
.....…err no thanks

Thanks for posting OP..........just called them, they said this offer was not on my account, told them to cancel my subscription, went through to the cancellation team and they offered me free telephone line rental for 12 months, £174 (£14.50x12) saved for a 10 minute call, I am already getting 25% off my sky package, so he could not reduce that any further.

£35 for the full sky package (including phone line rental is just about bearable).

Must remember to call them again in 12 months time..............

I got the same deal but also got a 2tb box for fifty quid with free installation.

I do wish Sky would be more solid with their pricing. The price you pay depends on so many things, including who you get, if you ring up to haggle with the cancellation team!

price you pay always depends on who you talk to and how you talk to them. I haven't had sky for years now (outdated and way too overpriced with online services now more current) but always got good deals as i always haggled with them, and would cancel my contract often with them offering me better and better deals to stay.

Just Rang sky Jalfrezi you got the flier through the door because you where a previous multi-room subscriber and have cancelled since. SKy now want you to rejoin Multi-room with this offer as explained to me by sky on the phone.

So if you have not previously had it in the past you can not receive this offer....

Not bad but yes you've effectively resigned your contract for 12 months and have used up your wiggle room. But that's fair enough if you're happy with what you've got and what you're paying.

Not voted either way.
