We’re sorry you've left Sky, and we're writing to let you know you can keep on enjoying the great features of your

Sky+HD Box, free for six months.

Try now for free

Sky+ normally costs £10 a month, so you'll save £60. There's no contract, and the service will expire after six months without you being charged a thing. But hurry, the offer ends on 30 September.

What do I need to do once I have taken this offer?

We’ll activate your Sky+ service within 3 days.

All you need to do is make sure that your Sky+ box is connected to your TV with your viewing card inserted. And don’t forget to connect your Sky+ box to your broadband router so you can enjoy the full range of catch up services.

If you need a reminder on how to do this, you can go to sky.com/setup

Had something similar, 9 months free. Just make sure you cancel at least a month before the free time period ends as they will charge you full price for the month following cancellation.

So basically you'll get sky+ features free but only free channels, exactly what you get on a humax box with no subscription.

I'm sure Sky+ isn't actually any channels. Sky+ is their On Demand and record and play back feature. Everyone gets it free for having an active TV subscription or you can add it for £10 if you don't have an active TV subscription but use a sky box for the free to air channels.

they have a cheek offering this for free for 6months then after charge you to be able to record free channels. £10 a month after that, much better and a lot cheaper buying a recordable freeview or free sat box
