I’ve never seen a multi screen offer so this is hot for me.

Heaven knows I’ve asked sky enough times.
Posted this deal this morning, so did someone else who beat me to it by a minute! Both were taken down due to be being duplicate of that big Friday deal post, so not sure why this has made it through but heat
How does taking this effect the current discounts I have ?
Appreciate any guidance.
Can anyone advise me.. just about to switch from virgin to sky and I need sky in one more room so is it the multi room that I need which means I can watch something else in another room.. sorry if this seems a stupid question but never had sky !
Seeing all these deals like half price kids TV and HD etc is the reduction for the whole 18months of contract?

Can I ask why you are changing from virgin to sky? Is it because you want to or be cause you are out of contract?
Virgin currently setting us back over £90 .. just phoned and the beat they could do was £79... zexactly the same on sky is £48.50 so saving quite a lot!

I just tried to add it to my package it it appears to keep my discounts.
I’m an existing Sky Q customer (1TB). Does this include the 2TB UHD box as well as a mini box please?

Your broadband will be with sky compared to VM though

What package did you have with VM and what you got now with sky

Literally negotiated with Sky last week. Paying full whack for the Multiscreen, wonder if i can get them to discount it.

No company will reward exisitng customers as much as new ones, it defeats the object of bringing in new customers. You must be silly to not shop around every year and expect them to do you an offer.
I have 5 months left of the deal i negotioated, £25 for entertainment and movies and boxsets. Enquiries inform that I would sign a separate contract for multiscreen 18 mths, and then when the entertainment package runs out in May 2020 negotiate another deal. But what chance of a deal with a 13 month multiscreen contract hanging round my neck. Sky is not a user friendly company,

They’ve screwed me over like this before, forcing me into a ‘deal’ I didn’t want or need.

Only do it if they agree to extend your existing discounts for the new 18 month term. Not worth the risk IMHO
Anyone know if virgin started their blacks deal has yet?
Don’t forget the £60 set up charge aswell!!

Im not silly as you say ...i did get offers from virgin media but none of them were as good as the offers that new customers seemed to get...i was told by virgin media that if i wanted a 'new customer deal' that i would have to cancel my contract and come back in 6 months... my point is is that if they used the same V.I.P system that sky use where loyal customers get rewarded..then maybe they wouldnt lose so many!!!

Disagree, take 5 minutes to call them, lay it on thick about the rewards new customers get - compared to current customers who have shown loyalty. Never paid more than £45 for the complete sky package in 13 years (both Q and HD). Same goes for other providers such as O2 and BT. Bringing in new customers but losing existing, also defeats the object!
I spoke to Sky on Saturday. Said I would have to start a completely new 18 month contract to add this

Yes. This is actually a decent offer from Sky as the discounts are for the length of the minimum term.

As with their other offers, they do tie you into another 18 months but as said, the discount is for the full term

If you have a device like a PS4 you don't need multi screen as you can watch Sky go on it and save the subscription for multi room.
If you already have Netflix through Sky and add the Sky Q experience your Netflix should get upgraded to premium from standard too

I am the same, wasn't that clear when it went through but I think it does not include the 2TB box - I couldnt see any option to add it, I would have happily paid a bit for the upgrade as the 1TB is running low and would like some of the ultra HD content.

And yes, this does contract you to at least the basic sky package for an additional 18months (but on my account has not lengthened the other deals i had on sports/movies etc) so will be interesting when they end if I end up just with the 'standard' package.

But in order to get the full benefit of Sky Q, including watching the available content in Ultra HD, you need to take the Multiscreen.

Yes he should be able to. I'm sure he can manage without ultra HD like most of us do:)
Did any existing customers currently in contract call SKY and ask for these discount? I might try this tomorrow. I already have heavy discount from the entire TV package, but never had any luck getting any discount for multiroom.

I tried to add this to my existing Sky Plus package and it retained all the discounts.I called them just now and he confirmed the discounts stay. He also offered me Netflix at £5 a month.

Only problem is lack of red button if you follow a Championship side for midweek games.

But multiroom with mini q is a great plus
Is there anywhere on here to look for advice on best deals for TV / Broadband? Looking for my sister who has access to Sky and VM at her location. She currently has Sky (old box), basic package, no HD and Broadband (not fibre) and is paying £44 per month. I called Sky today and they were a complete joke. Looking to pay around the same but for a wee bit more. Any advice or anecdotal stories very much welcome.
Thanks OP, just got my existing one reduced.

I'm with sky, I phoned them last week to renew my Q package, I just had basic entertainment with kids, box set, hd, superfast broadband and weekend calls, I was paying £53 pm, now I've got sky Q with entertainment package, hd, netflix, superfast broadband, unlimited anytime calls, kids and box sets for £47, there's only me and my children in the house, were not bothered about the sports or movies so this deal was good enough for me, just tell her to phone them, new customers seem to get better deals
Good deal, shame there doesn’t appear to be any deal to move from the sky plus box to the sky Q.....
Just signed up so multi-room sky entertainment package anytime calls sky super fast broadband and booster and netflix £53pm might not be the best but was paying more at virgin and getting less.
