Just add it to your current box sets package!
Community Updates
According to a sky rep if you have the 2TB sky q box and multi room (UHD) you get the 4k Netflix package for this price
If you currently have discounts on your subscription, adding Netflix will remove them.
If you don't have Sky Q, you'll need to upgrade to it.

Yes so £5 add on with sky grants you the standard netflix package (HD 2 screens) unless you have sky q experience pack (2tb box and multi room basically) this then grants you the netflix premium package (4k, 4 screens).

Premium was what I was after, as I am currently paying £9.99 per month. Which I can essentially now cancel and add to my sjy pacakage for £5.?

I have just tried to add this and they want an extra £9pm, so a saving of 99p for the UHD package. No option to add the £5pm offer package, I suppose this is because I have the Sky Q experience. Don't know if the Netflix app when it appears on Sky Q will let you have the discount to £5pm, doubt it.
Decent deal showing for just £5 on my account thinking of adding it, not sure if it's the standard Netflix HD at £7.99 per month or the premium Netflix at £9.99 though.I have sky q multi screen/experience

I have just read that "You must recontract to Sky Entertainment" though as per the below, so another 18 months.

Add Netflix to your Sky Box Sets

Call 0800 759 1442

You must recontract to Sky Entertainment:

£20pm 18-month min term, £25pm thereafter.

This is exactly it, I have just done it. You just need to log in on Netflix on your sky q with your current netflix username and password and it links the two.
I currently have box sets at £1, so when I try to add Netflix, it's removing my discount and charging me £9 extra a month.

I was waiting for someone to add this info, We only pay a £1 for box sets as it's worth no more if honest it's not even worth a £1 but Netflix is showing under manage my account at only £5, Clicked to add it and it said it couldnt and I had to ring them.
Not paying Sky £9 for Netflix when it's only £7.99 standard or £9.99 premium direct so no saving really.

I was hoping it would just be £5 for either standard or premium and deffo wont be re contracting unless they keep the discount on for another 18 months

So are they not able to give the Netflix for £5 extra even if you call them and negotiate?

It's trying to charge me an extra £44 a month on my (heavily discounted) subscription :/ Basically removing all current discounts. I think I'll pass.
Thanks OP - I have Q Experience so am keen to get 4K Netflix for £5 if at all possible. I can't see how to do it online and there's a 20 minute wait if you call them! Might check back tomorrow.

Yes. That seems to be a common problem with this style of offer. A phone call or online chat can sometimes get round it.

Mine did the same but we do have the netflix 9.99 package so it's saved 99p. It was slightly misleading as on the sky website when I logged in it said I could add for £5 but on confirmation took the discounted box sets into account and rounded up to £10 for both.

Are you on one of the newer entertainment packages? or the older legacy ones where box sets is the actual package as that maybe the issue.

I had a previous issue on the older box sets that was 100% discounted. I paid for multiscreen and fibre but tv was free. It caused huge issues with cancelling and rolled into full price despite cancelling which took a month to get the money back. Chances are it'll be something to do with the current discount and how it's applied.
Yes, I'll get them on chat and see what they can do.

I’m also on a heavily and hard fought discount too for at least another 10 months, so when I tried to add this they said that it would start another 18 month contract................... BUT! It would more than double my current subscription ! So I’m afraid it’s a no thank you......... unless someone knows a better way.

Not called them was hoping to avoid the silly call waiting times and Sky BS, From what ive read it's a little bit of a mess for people with discounted tv as they loose there discounts and in end have to pay more than £5 for netflix, Paying Sky £9 for something what cost £7.99 or £9.99 depending direct with Netflix isnt a deal from Sky and would be better kept separate.

Wonder if those with Netflix already can integrate there accounts into the sky tv guide or have to logg into an app

Same here.

Got box sets for £1 last month on 18 months new contract.

I also have Sky multiroom so I could get UHD.

Website says I can add Netflix for £5, click that and it goes up to £9 pound and removes my box sets discount:-/

I was paying £5 for box sets and £7.99 for Netflix so slightly better off albeit appreciate that’s the standard price. I might try and negotiate it down further after reading this post though..
Just off phone to them. Tried to add Netflix to my 60% discounted Sky Q package, contract ends next March. Told I will lose my discounts if I recontract.

Great deal! I tried but told I'd lose discounts. Did you phone them or online chat?
The Sky forums are full of customers not having to re contract to 18 months as ultimate box sets (Netflix) is only a 31 day rolling contract and their still keeping there discount on the tv package (excluding box sets) as box sets on its own is only a 31 day rolling.

I have Sky Q 2TB with all channels ie Entertainment £15, Kids £1, HD £1, Box sets £1, Movies £10, Sports complete £13, Sports HD £2 & Multi screen/Sky Q experience £12 so £55 per month so wouldnt want to loose the discount for sake of Netflix
