Good deal for the elderly who still sub to Sky.

The problem is that they don't like change and still think that the only alternative is five channels on through the aerial. 2012 was the last time I used an aerial, I spend about £7/M for Netflix and student Prime and occasionally NowTV if there is a promo on. So long as I don't watch Bbci player or the live news on the nowtv box, I don't pay the £13/m TV license either

Does your TV have a tuner card in it ? If yes then AFAIK you still have to pay the license fee.

It is not about what you watch but having the ability to watch

Do you get a regular Netflix account with this - with multiple users or is it just a single user / or can you use your existing Netflix account ?
Currently on entertainment bundle plus Q and paying £11. £35 is much more than what they offered on the phone (for everything except sports. If you keep bargaining with the retention team, they will offer £20ish for everything except sports.these these.

I never watch BBC but have sky box & Netflix do I still have to pay TV licence?
Haggled my new deal last night and in one phone call managed to reduce my bill and get Netflix thrown in. Was paying £56 a month for full package and sky q multiscreen (no ultimate on demand, just boxsets). Got a new 18 month contract with full package plus ultimate on demand (so Netflix 4K added) for £53 a month. There are def deals to be done by haggling with them, that was one of the easiest recontracting calls I have had with them tbh.
How do I speak to someone to haggle the price as a new customer or on live chat! It seems they have removed all of their contact functions for new customers!

That's not quite true.

If your TV isn't tuned in when they check, then you don't need one.

However, if you have a sky box, yes, you need a licence as it receives live TV.

Also you need a licence for watching iPlayer now.
I currently get this for £22

or just wishful thinking or totally naive! existing customers get a better deal, rofl.
I still have 6 months left on my subscription, is there anyway I can get a good deal or do I have to wait until the end, where are all there existing customer offers?

Okay, my phone, PC, Tablet, TV, smart watch, car, Dvd player, echo show and even my tractor can play live TV. I don't watch it. I will PM you my address and you can report me to tv licensing if you want.
They were quite happy three years ago when I had a visit.

I have everything except for Netflix for £38 per month. So I have entertainment, cinema, sports, kids, box sets, HD, etc...
Silly question time.
We currently have a Netflix subscription.
If we were to go for this deal and cancel the subs, would we still be able to watch Netflix on other devices using the new sky subscription or does it only work on the sky box.
Hope this makes sense..
No thanks I get Netflix prime and now TV for everything I need plus sky sports. Btw I paid £2.50 sky sports week passes via now TV. Sky is dead now it's no longer a good deal with what they offer plus I don't like being tied in for 18months and your bill will increase I use Freesat box and I can record on my stuff on that I mostly watch 90% on free TV plus the extras like Netflix and prime have me covered

I was t thinking about other TVs with roku / nowtv stick etc

A google tells me it isn’t possible, but wondered if anybody with sky Netflix can confirm please and thank you

To be fair, they did say “AFAIK” which translates as “I don’t actually have any knowledge about this but that’s not going to stop me giving my assumptions (which may or may not be right) and stating them as fact”.

I see your point, I hadn't considered that. I'm not into sport, I'm just a fat old farmer!
It Is a pretty good offer as I got the offer last year with the free samsung 43" telly,
I thought I wouldn't be able to get the new offer but they said no problem and did it,
and got -- Full TV Pack - Netflix Premium - HD - Movies - Ultimate on Demand and Multi Room.

Total Cost = £47.10p

Well worth it to keep the family happy

Hope this helps
