Not had much luck this year with SKY deals. Cancelled sky then got offered this retention deal, sourced via web chat.
Entertainment: £11 / Sports: £9 / Cinema: £10 / Boxset: £1 / HD: £1 / Multiscreen: £12

Total: £44pm (£528 12 month contract)

Tried for 50% off multiroom and an account credit - both declined.

Hope this is useful as a benchmark of what is on offer.

Cancelled mine, offered me £20pm for everything. I declined. They phoned back 2 weeks later, £12pm for everything and 2 months credited back to my account. I declined.

As long as you're prepared to accept buffering, stuttering and...nothing when you most want to watch an event, then it's fine

I'm not on it. Just the ones I've seen.

And that's point. There's ok IPTV. And there is diabolical IPTV.

And you only find out after you've paid for it.

Declined at just £12 a month? Wish I was as lucky as you. Still get offered rubbish even when I cancel and wait for a few weeks for them to offer me stuff.
I was offered £39pm to come back - declined, moved over to Now TV for £23pm for everything - well happy.

I also cancelled late last year and only got offered rubbish deals to come back. I think the best they offered was £39 for everything, I decline and they gave up. The guy said that due to previous discount I had received the year before he couldn't offer any better discount. I got a good deal with Now TV (owned by Sky), works out £23 pm for everything, not quite as smooth as Sky but now I have got used to it I watch more of what I want and not just put the tv on for the sake of it.
Op to save the freeze there is a massive thread in misc for sky discounts, you might get lucky and have it loved there like all others
Best I’ve been offered is £34pm... left in Dec
Hey guys, looking for a bit of advice! Just cancelled our sky package last week as out of contract. I'm wondering where do I go from here to be offered these retention deals? Just to see what they come up with before we switch providers!
Any help grately appreciated!

Who do you use for your iptv and what box do you use
I pay £61 a month for mine: I get my phone line, unlimited fibre, Box sets,
Eurosport in HD (although the motorsports I watch aren’t in it this year FFS), one multi room box and got the 2TB Q Box. My brother and my Dad recently left Sky and Sky wouldn’t come to close to this price for them. My advantage came from the fact I left them for a year and went with BT. I used BT as a threat, even though I had no intention of going back, and I got a pretty good deal. If you could tolerate it, leave for a year-I tried to get my bro and Dad to do the same but they didn’t and got really really poor offers when signing back up.

However, if BT improved their boxes and software, I’d have stayed. Their YouView box is awful IMO, but their fibre speed and router wipe the floor with Sky. Sky’s router barely reaches the third bedroom upstairs, my BT router let me use the WiFi in the shed!

Have it through the smartiptv app on my Sony and LG Tv. £5 per month subscription from ebay. Never had a problem.

Shame I only discovered it not long ago.

Cut my sky down to basic for £12 a month until I can cancel completely in October.

IPTV is so good!
Currently pay £55 for full package, sports, movies, HD, phone and fibre max. Luck if the draw with Sky!
