Just spoke to sky as my TV was in pending cacellation and I have agreed to the following deal:

Entertainment £15 (should be £25)
HD £1 (should be £5)
Sports and Movies £19 (should be £38)
Sports HD £2 (should be £6)

= £37 for the tv.

I then got £13.99 off my Fibre for the next 12 months so the Fibre is now £6.01

I already have free line rental until the end of October so my bills are £43.01 and until end of October and then increase to £62.

The beauty of this deal is that only the tv is in contract for another12 months not the fibre or the line rental even though there is a deal on the fibre. My contract on the fibre ends at the end of October when my line rental deal ends. So I will be ringing up for another deal then.

It's a good deal but will go cold as people on here only like freeview.

I like seeing these deals because it shows what is possible when haggling. May go cold though as people don't like personal deals that aren't available to the masses. Voted hot as great price
I havnt got movies on mine but kids and I pay a total of 33.50 a month for a year
Even though I’m in lanzarote weather great sunny it’s gonna get chilly with this.
i agree i already have max discounts so im ok.however when ive seen a post on here and mentioned it to sky.they have basically told me to do one.therefore im cold on this
Just cancel and sign up under another name, I pay £35 for everything TV wise for 18 months

My entertainment is currently £11 for 18 months with the HD at £1, so they will go a bit lower. I don’t have broadband with them either
not great, i have 60% off my tv from sky this year, have not paid full price for well over a decade. least i have ever got is 50% discount.

Should never pay full price for any pay tv. pay 10 pounds per month for Racing UK instead of 22.50 and have half price bt sport as well.

i always cancel sky tv via their live chat,,,, 20 seconds later log into your account online and via your tv and there are normally 2 offers, the highest normally being 50% off for the next 12 months.

this past year the offer via my tv was 60% off which i took.

I get sky sports,bt sports and fullchannels with phone line and 200 mb internet with virgin for £36.25.
I don't even haggle any more. They just send me 60% off code every year.
£45 for 18 months, includes movies and mini box.

This deal is no longer available through sky as of 1st Jan 2018

That's not a good deal, I pay £21 a month for all movies, sports, HD, boxsets etc... Then another £20 a month for fibre... I even got an additional £100 account credit giving me the first 4 months free... My price is fixed for 18 months.
I have q and can't get anything at the moment. I am two weeks into notice period and they're not moving.
Anyone had any retention deals with q?

Try going on chat - I was the same as you - just kept talking to different people on chat until one of them gave me a deal. I got box sets, all sports channels and HD with a new sky Q 2tb box for £35pm.

So you weren't already on Q?
33574177-9pges.jpgI am pretty happy with the deal I negotiated a couple of weeks ago
I got my tv package for £9.50 per month 75% off. Just sweat it out and they come round eventually.

No I had to really haggle to get the box for free. It's what swung it for me
Any ideas for how to get these sorts of deals as a new customer?
seems you are all getting deals - my package ended 3 weeks ago - multi room all channels, box sets all of it TV wise £44 per month, offered £49 per month without box sets

they wont go anywhere near my old deal - nearest with sky q boxes was £71

so i have moved to IPTV

When did you get that deal? We were on the same (offer75 + £100 credit) for the last year on our two households, but those expired now. And they aren't coming close for come back or new customers.

I have 5 months left so just over a year ago. I guess it's getting tougher with them. I'll be switching to IPTV when I'm up, the content isn't worth the money. I only really watch F1 on it now, the kids etc all prefer Netflix.

Really? I pay £18 a month.

Any advice? Currently paying £60 for that package and broadband
I got the same deal via the online chat. The above is applicable for sky HD only. Therefore only available without a sky q box.

What I've just had through the post for TV in cancellation period and £15 for entertainment pack
I've just finished live chat with Sky and finally got a decent deal. I'm in the last week of my 30 days notice period for TV, landline and Broadband Unlimited (not Fibre). Tried several times already and not been offered anything decent so was happy to proceed with cancellation. Tried one last time today and ended up with Phone (pay as you talk), Broadband Unlimited (again not Fibre) TV Entertainment Pack + Kids + HD Pack + Cinema + Sky Go Extra for £38.00 a month for 12 months - should be £83ish per month. This works out almost as good as my 60% Off Deal that just ended - which I am very happy with considering Sky Retention deals are nowhere near as good as they were previously. Like others have said, you just need to keep trying until you get through to the right person. It also helps to be nice to them and come across as friendly, rather than being confrontational. Well, it worked for me anyway
Can anyone help me? My 60% offer runs out this month but I signed up for Q halfway through and now they want £91 for the remaining 12 months of Q contract. I’ve tried to get the £43 a month for everything but best they can do is £57!!
Ben your in contract they will charge you what they like my advice is accept the £57

You only have leverage when your out of contract when they usually give all channels for £40

yes, if you are out of contract simply cancel. You can then see what deals they offer you. The moment I was no longer a customer the deal offered was made better!

Yeah well my mums passed away, and the contract was in her name all they will offer is the same package or entertainment and fibre for £40. Really would be easier to keep sky so I don’t get dumped with no internet

Sorry to hear that! You do not need to cancel your broadband. In fact it is better not to. Simply cancel the TV and see what they offer. You will need to get the contract changed to your name though, or you could simply apply with your own name after cancelling the one in her name.

I gave up on sky, they’d only change it into my name, they wouldn’t offer me any retention deals, couldn’t be offered anything because I haven’t had sky in my name for over a year. My only option was to become a new customer, or keep the contract but a lot of the deals were expiring anyway so I’d be lumped with a £90+ bill a month.
Virgin gave me 100mb unlimited plus normal tv, I’ll just set up now tv for entertainment channels will work out £29 plus the now tv is usually £5 a month. Also got a £50 curry’s voucher

Just got that too.
Entertainment goes down to £14 if you phone them.
Sky sports HD is £2, but no deals on multiroom (still £12)
