Received a price increase notice and called Sky to discuss a new contract. I rang them three times and finally got a good deal.

If you receive this notice - you can call them to negotiate or cancel your contract, without penalty.

£23 P/M - 12 Month Contract Standard Unlimited Fibre with a basic phone line (no calls included) - line rental included.

Note - the two times I called them previously, they insisted that £28 was the best deal they could do - mention that you have seen this post and that you would rather just get the best deal now rather than messing around and talking to managers.

The discounts are from the broadband and line rental.

Has anyone who is with sky via app or online account, ever been able to see any notes under my help or similar ie from when you have spoken with sky advisor via phone, text or live chat etc? As I was informed by advisor on phone that even though I've now left sky I should be able to login sky account and see any notes on my account! But oddly advisor could not direct me to that part of my account as he said he was not familiar with sky account website. I asked if he could get someone else to help, then came back, saying unfortunately that part of sky account website was under maintenance

It’s a Good Price, but I’d still see if you can negotiate further.. I put my cancellation notice in with Broadband & talk and was offered Fibre Max for £14.01 and Line rental £8.99 for 18 months

Great deal - my exchange is unable to provide ‘MAX’ speeds - I believe they have a middle speed that I might try to negotiate. Thanks!
We can’t call Sky’s bluff and leave as our exchange is full so we can’t get another other fibre service!

You can tell them you’re actively seeking to move providers, the new provider won’t require to disconnect you I believe.
I left talktalk and BT said no fibre for me . My contract is ending ..bad service .. Now for for some a search ..maybe sky or virgin in Poole

I'm new to sky...can someone please let me know how to find the length of contract on mysky / online sky account and when the contract ends? Thanks
I'm on £28 for fibre unlimited including unlimited calls and Sky+ recording on my unsubscribed HD box. I don't have Sky TV.

Fair enough. I was told, by Sky, that to leave it would be better to have a deal in place with another company as there is no disconnection, they just transfer the services.

I tried to upgrade to fibre unlimited from broadband Unlimited, it says I'm only eligible for broadband unlimited, yet when I do a fibre broadband checker it says I'm eligible to upgrade...any ideas guys? Was hoping to get the cashback by upgrading

We had that issue.. we had to move providers and request an open reach engineer to connect us...
Last weekend, I also called to see what they could do as I was about to get a price rise and my contract was coming to an end in a couple of weeks.

They offered me some deals which I could see were readily available to new customers online and I told them so. After 15 minutes waiting to get through and a 10 minute conversation which got me nowhere, a few hours later I'd taken my business elsewhere.

They sent me a survey the next day asking what I thought of their service, if I thought my loyalty was rewarded (NO!!) and I noted that the person I spoke to had given me a different name to the one they said I had spoken to. Could the representatives be giving out false names to cover their tracks when customers leave or complain?

I'm surprised that the original poster even bothered to call 3 times to get a deal. For me, if I'm not good enough as a customer for you to look after my interests the first time, I'm moving on and not wasting my time bothering to give you future business.
There is another thread discussing Sky broadband retention deals. It seems online chat do better deals than the call centre. I negotiated Fibre Unlimited plus phone line for £18 last week, 12 month contract as have others.
Hi Op and others, use the Sky chat link (Indian call centre) advisor.sky.com/cha…bal to negotiate again quoting another providers offers ie Talk Talk with cash back, you might just get further discounts. Don't bother calling as you get UK call centre, and they are inflexible. I had a £20 pm for fibre unlimited + line rental for 12 months on chat, logged onto chat again a week later, and got a new £18 pm for 12 months.
