Good for anything really. Decent fixings.
I was interested when I thought it was 100 bolts.
There's not a single bolt in the pack.

Might be why it's a bit chilly in here.

My thought exactly. Suggest the title gets changed from bolts to screws.
Not even stainless!
I would want stainless bolts so you don't get orange rust marks down the wall after rain.
50 for 4.99... great value... cheers
Don't like amazon, literally 3 clicks..

These are coach screws, not coach bolts. A very different product.

Even the description clearly states so.

Hence my disappointment, they are not what you quoted in the deal title.

they are described as per amazon title and if you look at toolstation they sell coach bolts individually and they are the same, splitting hairs really, but if these are used for there intention they are still a good price, but no pleasing some people especially the ones that would probably not even know which end of an hammer to hold never mind fit a sat dish

Following your advice, a search for Coach Bolt on Toolstation came back with....
toolstation.com/sea…olt

The results show coach bolts & coach screws.
Very different items.

A screw is not defined by the head, rather than by the fact it possesses the capability of forming its own thread.

A bolt requires a preformed hole to pass through.

Hex head screws can be applied with a screwdriver in exactly the same manner as one could apply a Torx head screw or security head screw, you just need the correct tool.

You may find one of THESE useful.

you defo live in the PC world dont you,as i said some people refer to this type of screw as a bolt because of the size of the thread because most people will use a spanner or socket and ratchet to tighten it,if you cannot get your head around that then i cant help you

Nothing to do with political correctness at all.
Simply identifying the correct tool for the job.

Some folk will argue that black is white and won't desist even when the evidence is in front of them.
You suggested that Toolstation call them coach bolts, I proved that you were wrong but you still persist.

Some people use the word 'of', when they should use the word 'have'.
Equally mistaken.
Now now, handbags down..
Wiki says bolts are fasteners - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolt_(fastener)
ie Refers to the shaft rather than the head, which is the main point of contention here..

I would say the deal is not a bad one especially for 50 screws @ £4.99 .. I have many TVs and wardrobes I want to hang on the walls.
