720p at 25fps,wait is it still 2006,sorry i still dont see the value in this.£21 more than last year, but less footy matches.ok you get other sports too, darts cricket,f1,etc but if your only interested in the footy, you paying for stuff you dont want.ok so nowtv did announce in november 2018 that they were going FHD for the sports in January of 2019,guess what it didnt happen.then they announced it would happen for the new footy season august 2019,but you will have to pay an extra premium for it(,we,ll see if this pans out.)there is no mention that this season,s pass entitle,s you access to a FHD 1080 stream either, than its just pure speculation at the moment.also is the FHD stream that is promised a 1080/25 fps stream or 1080/50fps stream?if the latter, then if you are a skyq or sky hd customer how does this pricing structure affect you?a skysports fhd sports and entertainment pack costs on average 42 pounds month(please feel free to quote what you guys pay if its less).but you could get deals on entertainment passes with cinema and this sports deal that if full hd would then work out a lot cheaper, making there skyq or sky hd package uncompetitive surely?what are your thoughts on this guys?so the cynical side of me thinks this FHD aint gonna happen unless the premium they add is so hefty it wont compete or hurt their current skyq/hd business model.this sports deal might seem value to some, but not to others like myself, but hey its your money, spend it how you want.me i prefer more bang for my hard earned buck.

Increased from £179 last season :-(
Been waiting for this deal! HOT!
£20/month for sky sports. - Share with a friend (watch 2 screens at same time) making it £10/month, same price as a round in the pub! 1080p likely to be coming this season. In time for the ashes too!
Not a great deal when you can get weekly passes for £2.99 each at present (and frequently)

cdkeys.com/top…ass

May be more hassle buying them (plus don't know if you can use more than one per account) - a new account takes a couple of minutes to create. Works out much better value even if you buy 40 of them (£120) - probably less unless you'll watch any game that's on.

I have never had a problem with the picture quality a lot of people mention, yes is 720p but a lot of people get hung up on that number. 1080p has been promised for what seems like years now so wouldn't hold my breath on it coming anytime soon.

was waiting for this, thanks! A little more expensive than last year, but think i'll still go for it.

When does your current pass expire?

When does your current pass expire?

i had this season ticket last season so probably the end of may , i don't have any live passes right now
I had a 24 hour pass the year before last. I really struggled with the picture quality. Might have to get another pass and see what it's like now. When's 1080p stream coming out?
Just come off a mega cheap 3 month deal and been offered £20 per month for 3 months. Ideal for a few more F1 races.

I'm not eligible either apparently, just looked on nowtv forum and it seems to be an error with them. There is someone called Karl looking into it as others are having the same problem, so it'll probably be sorted soon.
not worth 720p resolution and less footy than last year

Not worth it as they offer you £20 for three months usually anyway.

I was getting some kind of error "Sorry, something went wrong". However I was able to purchase using my phone instead.
£10 quidco / £7.50 tcb also

I wish these passes included catchup and on demand content. I know that would likely take away from their offering on Sky subscriptions but it’s rare that I would get a chance to watch a lot of live action so on demand and catch up would be perfect. Good deal though if you are likely to watch a lot live
Been waiting for this deal to come up as I missed it last season. Great vfm if you ask me, not sure what picture quality problems people have, its always very decent for me. Baffled by the comments about less football than last year - the new deal is more PL matches than before and they still have 1st pick every weekend.

And its still not possible to watch football from the other major broadcaster at all unless you sign up for their overpriced broadband.

You can get bt sports if that's what u talking about through ee / bt sports (taking price into account as well)
wait! £20 per month is a great deal?

how much is it supposed to be?

Yes you can but that still locks you into a mobile phone supplier and it doesn't stream well to the tv so is only comparable to NowTV's £4.99/m mobile offering anyway. NowTV doesn't hold you hostage to any particular broadband/phone/tv supplier.
Anyone know when BT Sports are coming to Now TV? Been rumoured for ages

£33.99 a month, unlike going with virgin / sky / bt direct, you don't need other packages either. Like on sky tv it about min £40 for new customers

I agree, am not sports fan. I am more into movies / tv shows myself. On one plus side of now tv pass as someone above said he does, make it easier to share cost with other person
n123426/07/2019 11:34

It would have been a surprise if the price had stayed the same given that Now TV passes generally have increased in the last year. It could have been worse the F1 season pass when up for £150 to £195.
DazLFC26/07/2019 15:15

Anyone know when BT Sports are coming to Now TV? Been rumoured for ages

It it happens it would be at a massive price increase, given that Sky (who also own Now TV) subscipion customers are charged more per month to add BT sport to their subscription than the price per month of this pass (£29.99 a month or £25 a month on a 12 month contract for BT sport).

Does this really work? Is it allowed, it seems a bit cheeky? I have a friend who is pretty much housebound and it would do him much good to watch some sport at no cost to him if I share. But he is 25 miles away. Would that be OK?
I share with my brother in law who's 200 miles away!
