Yea is HD package how do you get it for 13??
When I had Sky Q installed I rang up and spoke to retentions explaining that I didn't want two different contracts (TV and Sky Q) with different start and finish dates, I wanted them both the same so they offered me £13 with 18 month term or £18 on a rolling 31 day term.
Haha Brilliant, thanks for posting. Just went to look to see what i could add and got this -

Everyone pays whatever they can negotiate. There's rarely a fixed deal for all on sky.
The latest deal for me as an ex-customer (this week) was the best they had offered. It was entertainment and all Sports channels in HD all-round for £25. Previously the closest they had got was £30. Was half tempted, but I reckon they might come down to £20 eventually. If they don’t, then they won’t be getting any more of my money. Simples.
Has anybody done any better? If I cave in, I want it to be the lowest price possible, obviously.

They 'offered' me the entertainment package for £13, and yesterday was my 'last chance' to accept it...
HA!
Who are they trying to kid! Its freesat with sky repeats, and as for paying for 'boxsets'....you want me to pay extra for SERIES of repeats????
Joke.

Quite! There is plenty of mind numbing crap available on freesat as you say and the only difference for me personally is that it isn’t in HD and I can’t record it. The upside is that it saves me a not inconsiderable amount of money every month and to be honest, I don’t even miss Sky at all. I am finding better things to do with my time than melt my brain.
As an aside, Siri translated my words incorrectly. They offered me all of the sky sports channels, as opposed to all of the sky channels. I have edited the original post as it may help others.

I can record on freesat?
I got onto nowtv chat last week, got offered a code for sky sports on nowtv (yes I know can't record, not 1080p etc) for £16.99 pm without haggling, so try that if it suits
I’ve got it on a £18 rolling deal which I took out last month as my contract with sky finishes in October. So didn’t want be tied up paying full price for entertainment etc for another 18 months. I’d recommend existing customers check this too

I can record on freesat?

Indeed you can if you have the equipment!
asl979131/08/2019 10:27

A freesat box? lol.

Howsoever! I use my old sky box with the original viewing card in, but of course there is no record facility.

Ah fair. You can pay sky still to have the record feature only but that's a bit of a rip off I think

Last time it was offered to me, it was £10 per month. Obviously for a few extra quid you can have the entertainment package and so it is not a good deal. Better than their insurance option though on the equipment!
"Requires the Entertainment package as a minimum" - this totally ruins it in my opinion.

Sure use of of these. Note the satellite dish has two coax outputs. Recorders need both. Non recorders need only one.

Spoofing your location by any chance!

I get it for £10 a month currently for 6 months

I agree. The only thing I miss is the rec/ pause/ few facilities so I've ordered the Humax.
Have to say, the reason we binned Sky is simply because there was nothing on. Paying extra for the Sky channels which are full of repeats was a bit of a joke. Even now we flick through the channels to see what we're missing and quite clearly we're not missing anything! If I want to watch a game I'm happy to grab a discounted Nowtv package.
And I was sick of the price rises! For what?? They need to up their game because people are leaving in droves, droves I tells ya!

The turning point for me came when they charged me £95 (instead of £40) for the month because my discounted period had ended. Unlike most other places, they sneakily don’t remind you. The ‘fantastic offer’ they then tried to bribe me with involved an extra £10 / month increase, whilst taking away multi-room and movies!!! So far, this has cost Murdoch one year of subscriptions and obviously saved me the same!

Yup, they're very sneaky. 'Yes, you're out of contract but you need to give us a month's notice'.
Bye!
I have Sky Sports complete pack in HD and Sky Cinema for £18 a month extra on top the Sky Entertainment package

Murdoch doesn’t own sky anymore. It was sold to comcast after disney bought the whole of 20th century fox and fox tv. It then sold sky to comcast. Murdoch has billions and probably isnt bothered about your years sky subscription.

What does everyone pay for sky entertainment tv in HD, sky sports HD, Ultimate on demand (netflix)?
Anyone got screenshots of their packages?
iEddyMorrison09/09/2019 11:29

Anyone got screenshots of their packages?

You might want to re-word that!
smallsteve09/09/2019 12:31

‘What prices do people pay for their package? And breakdowns would be useful?’
If you cancel sky tv in the 30 days notice do they call back with better deal?
