Sky Sports Complete Package HD + Sky Cinema for £22 p/m when signing up for 18 months (call in to get this deal, not online)

Having got the rest of my package for 67% off (see my other thread), I have until now held off adding Sports and Cinema as at the time I ordered the rest of my package, this sort of offer was not available.

Anyway if you are willing to commit yourself with Sky for 18 months - they will give you both Sports HD and Movies for £22.

Usually it is:

Sports Complete Pack: £27.50 p/m
Sky Cinema £18 p/m

Sports HD pack: £6 p/m

But again with this deal when signing up for 18 months) you can get all the above for £22 p/m. See below:

I did this over the phone - and the fella I spoke to was not even aware of this deal, nor was his manager. They had to go back office for like 10 mins and they were told that they (call handlers) were going to be briefed of this deal tomorrow. But it is actually live now.

Again the key is that you are opting for BOTH sports pack and cinema, for 18 MONTHS. Any other options or deal term will not get you this at that price.

This will probably go cold because it is Sky but this will be relevant for some I am sure.

So as a new subscriber, could i get this package with Sky Q, multiroom etc, or is this just for existing customers renewing?

I believe this offer is only for the older Sky+ HD subscribers, as I had the same deal last week which I took. They will only offer sky q at 30%, so this week I have just ordered sky q with the 67% off rolling over , but have opted to pay the additional £12 for multi room. Also the cost of the silver box and mini @ £115.

They offered me 50% off Sky Q and 65% off HD, maybe account specific?.
Is worth noting Sky Q is 18 months contract, HD is 12 months.

To clarify sorry: I am a new customer, however I added on the Sports and Cinema packages after my initial order.

My whole package is due to be activated tomorrow.

From my chat with Sky this evening though they seemed to make out that this particular deal (Sports + Cinema for £22) is available for anyone who is willing to commit themselves to 18 months with them - an 18 month contract.

So is £22 your total you pay for everything or is that just for sports and movies

What about internet? Did you get any with this offer?

Because the OP also stated that he added this after his initial order. I was querying what the original order was. Knowing if internet is included is an important factor for people looking for a “deal”.

Sadly not no (thought that would have been obvious). £22 is for the sports HD and cinema element.

For the rest of my own package you can see it here:

Sky Q TV Box Sets + Fibre Unlimited + Sky Q 2tb Box + Sky Q Mini Box Multiroom (18 month contract): £49.54 per month

But hopefully you can bolt this £22 (sports + cinema) deal on to your own packages (whether you are an existing or prospective customer).

even if you manage to get this deal the minimum you can pay is 44 quid a month (added 22 for original pack) so its misleading to say you can get all this for 22, because you can't.

I only pay £20 a month for Entertainment, Movies and Sports. I also had £100 account credit.

& you have a flying car

I recently rang to cancel and they gave me the offer of sky Q movies, sports, boxsets and HD with 2 mini boxes and the 2tb 4k box for £48 a month with no fitting or equipment fee, was happy with that but I'm sure people have gotten better deals than that

Nope , plenty of people on here got the same deal.

You just don’t know how to play the game

50% is the current best offer though with £25 cash back

I only have the standard package but I'm on a 75% discount, which was for 18 months and I believe any upgrades I do also get the 75% discount. So it is available if you talk to the right people

iptv is the way forward

I had 50% off movies and sports and despite threatening to leave and talking to retention’s they would not give me any discount off sky q, they were adamant it was an either or option, I am now on a one month rolling contract although as Zi really want sky Q I might try again as their offers seem to change frequently and it certainly seems to make a difference on who you talk to🤔

Iptv i think is quite good and, help is always given to those who ask for it.

You should check that, they don’t normally do 18 month offers and though in the past do e lucky people got 4 or 5 year ones you don’t want to be caught paying full price.

I'm on 75% discount as well - though ISTR 12 months not 18

Thanks for the contribution.

Forgive me if this is an idiotic question....£22 for sky sports and cinema. Does that mean I get the basic sky one etc channels?

I’m on a one month rolling package £36 for everything and sky multi room. Really want Sky Q, but it would cost me £115 for 2TB and extra box, which I refuse to pay. I was hoping that a deal would come along and keep checking the website, but nothing as yet.
I have one slight concern about taking a deal on sky Q though, which is that they lock me into an 18 month contract and then after six months, say, revert me to the full price of something like £92! Anybody know if this is likely to happen?

I would take £22 p/m for complete sports HD pack, you can keep your movies lol, but Sky know if they start offering just a sports bundle for around this price the number of base/family bundles would drop by half overnight

Thats where NOWtv is becoming an interesting option. Seems like offers for monthly passes for 20 quid are pretty frequent, and apparently its 720p. Plus you can save 3 months worth of subs in the summer when no footy because no contract.

Same here - I was negotiating a week or 2 ago and they said there was nothing they could do with SkyQ - I ended up going for 18 month contract at £58 per month for everything so not that great. Anyone think it's worth calling back to ask about SkyQ?? Thanks.

Hi I am wanting to join sky TV for my parents either on variety or boxsets... Can anyone tell me how I can get 67% I would be grateful

i have had sky for years, with 67% off the basic package and fibre, however last week i upgraded to sky q 2tb, which cost me £65 for the box, and i now have the full package, movies , sports and boxsets, altogether including internet it costs me £65 a month, and they originally offered me the 18 month contract however i managed to get them down to rolling contract, but the offers only last for 6 months, so in 6 months i just ring up and try the same again. I did it by talking to them via online chat

Didn't take this deal, but it did make me get off my backside & live chat them. Took a rolling 31 day contract of full package including HD for £42.90 pcm, along with a £25 bill credit. Works out to £40ish a month if I stay for 12 months, or I might just cancel before then.
So heat from me for forcing me into finally speaking with them.

it will happen if you change your package, otherwise, no

i got my parents on a deal of:-
Complete Sky HD Package with all channels, sports and movies
3 multiroom subs (so makes 4 boxes in total)
Sky Broadband unltd
Sky talk evening/weekends
£62 a month.

How the deal posted has even gone hot is a mystery to me as you cannot get the channels listed by the OP for £22 a month, it is £22 a month EXTRA.

Dont do it. Dont upgrade to Sky Q. Obviously i cant speak for anyone else, but i hate it. The layout is clunky, the box crashed around twice a month and failed recordings. The whole system just seems like it was rushed to market. Oh and the sound issue over HDMI (serch sky forums) was a massive annoyance so managed to bypass it with sounding going over Optical cable instead.

Had a standard sky box and upgraded to Q 12 months ago on a £30 a month for all channels package. Came to renewal time and they wouldn't budge below £68 so ive sacked them off and gone with Virgin. Only had it for two weeks and one of those we were on honeymoon, so i can't say whether its better or not, but there is no sound over HDMI issue and no box crashes yet so im happy so far.
