TCB is £90 for new customers -
Fast Broadband + TV + 8 Sky Sports channels Includes FREE set-up + FREE TV box £28.45 a month
works out to £20.95 a month for 12 months once you factor in the TCB

i would be careful if you get the talktalk box we had one but it was really bad - just got rid of sky and wanted a recording box for use upstairs and bought the youview one from argos £135 branded as bt but really ten times better than the outdated talktalk one tbh.

Why cold ..seems good deal.

really good deal, esp. with cashback

This looks a decent deal - why so cold? Is the service rubbish or something??

Heated op as a good long term price

Nice one op, just coming to the end of sky contract and have had enough of their prices £58 pm at the moment (after nearly 20 years) I am with talk talk for fibre superfast bb so just added their smart box and sports for £13.50 a month... have mucho heat

Anyone know the best deal just to get F1 in specific with UHD?

Aren't sky changing sky sports to loads of different channels dedicated to each sport? So I wonder if this is for all the sports channels or just for 1? Good deal if it covers all.

Yeah its for then all its on my account

And the award for most misleading title of 2017 goes to.....

SKY SPORTS FOR £8.50 FOR 18 MONTHS!!!

Already a TalkTalk customer and was receiving the sports boost at half price (£16). Their web chat were misinformed and wanted to tie the Big Summer Save sports tv boost offer with a new broadband contract! None the less a further call through to them means I'm saving £7.50 per month (over 18 months), so it is available to existing customers.
TalkTalk aren't perfect (well documented on many threads here), but on the whole which major players to tv / broadband are? Have some needed heat!!

The offer is for 8 sports channels. The only one's not included are the Sky Sports Mix (which is a freebie for Sky customers only) and Sky Sports News (which is available with the TV Starter / Entertainment Boosts).

This is a good deal. Ive just selected it in my account thanks. You can cancel at any time on a monthly basis but after cancelling the price will revert to the standard £34 pm

Talktalk always get negative feedback but offer some good deals compared to other providers. Even sky cant match this offer

Does adding TV to your account start a new 18 month contract for your broadband?

TBH FOR £8.50 AND ABLE TO RECORD THEM THATS FINE WITH ME LOL

Haw, another reverse Hot thread.

Why are the best deals downrated?

Ive been paying either £34 per month or less when on offer or for the weekly passes so £28 odd which would include my internet is a yes from me. Just got to wait until September until my ee contract runs out, which I bet by then it will be off offer

Sky Sports discount: TV customers adding the Sky Sports Boost pay £8.50 for the first 18 months (discount applied as a credit to your bills), £34 thereafter (price correct as of 18.07.17). 1-month min. term applies. All other charges still apply as standard. Offer ends 01/09/2017; subject to removal, change or withdrawal at any time.

Surprise this isn't hot. Seems like a cracking deal to me. Cheers OP

Best its everyone who prefers sky over it brand snobs lol

This is a great deal but people tied into there sky/bt/virgin contracts are voting cold in anger at the cracking deal us talktalk users are getting.

I'm fortunate that I'm not under contract. Ordered now anyway. Would be silly not to at that pricing.

We've just cancelled our virgin for this deal. We are paying £34 for just broadband & phone from them. Been with them 14 years but all they'll offer is broadband only for £30!

We've gone for £36.45 for the sky sports & cinema package. I already have a retail humax youview box so guess that means we can get the tv in 2 rooms now haha

You don't have to wait until your out of contract to get a new broadband deal. If you place a order your current provider will just send you an early termination fee for the remaining time - which is less then paying monthly for it as you only pay for remaining line rental and also without VAT.

Might give it a whirl as I'll kick myself if I lose out as I'm paying more than this for the Internet and recordable box

Excellent deal if already with TalkTalk

What's people's experiences with the talktalk box?

Rubbish bt youview one is ten times better

Probably due to a mix of TalkTalk haters and envious Sky subscribers stuck in contracts and paying over the odds for their Sky packages just to get Sky sports.

For info, if you already own a BT youview+ box, you can record your TalkTalk Sky Sports TV boost channels ok without the need to install TalkTalk's TV boxes. So unless you really need two boxes that can record, you could just opt for the free TalkTalk lite box with your TV boost.

You cannot record them unless you already have a Youview+ box or you pay a one-off £25 fee and additional £5 per month for the TalkTalk plus box (which also adds 6 Sky channels (including Sky Sports News). The free lite box that you get for your £8.50 subscription doesn't record, it only pauses and rewinds live TV.
