I was originally offered this when I went to cancel my previous pass, but it is not there now and so this must be accounts specific.

I found the £1 per month deal much better value, although it's only a mobile pass. You can use it on upto 4 devices and I know I can cast from my android phone to tv.

overpricing sport and offering a discount doesn,t make it a good deal IMHO.price still to rich for my blood.barely hd in a full hd/4k world dont cut it for me.i demand more bang for my buck.i love my sport but i wont pay over the top for it,so voting cold ,to others this might seem a good deal, each to there own, there choice.for those waiting for the f1 pass it,s gonna be interesting as to what they are going to charge for that,i wouldnt watch f1 unless it was minimum full hd,again my choice.hang on isnt now tv suppose to be full hd beginning of 2019, as quoted in november 2018,hmm still waiting.then there was a rumour possibly may, probably will be put back to august 2019 for start of new footy season, with a price hike of course.

interesting,i thought you couldnt cast to tv,but of course i stand corrected on that.also what is the quality like,i would assume the bitrate would be a lot lower ,being that it is originally cast to a mobile phone.what is the quality like fella, when recast to your tv?

Mobile month pass doesn't support Chromecast. Each to their own though, not knocking you for it being better value to yourself, but you state that you know you can cast from your Android phone to TV

Hi,
Quality is good I'd say its 720p so HD but not full HD. Anyways great deal for less than a bag of chips. You can definitely cast. Not sure about IOS though. The offer is £1 per month for 2 months.

So it let you cast? Because when I've tried it before it said I can't cast unless I have a full sports pass.
I am hoping for the F1 offer like they did in 2018... Thoughts, is this comparable?

Use Android's in-built casting/mirroring function if you can't cast directly from within the app. That's what I do with BT Sports which I get free with my EE contract but which doesn't allow me to stream directly from in the app. You'll need a decent phone and Internet speed but nothing too fancy.

I'm waiting for the 60% off (£12.99 a month) deals to return, I think there is a good chance we will get a multi month deal before the start of Sky's first season of exclusive live (bar the GB grand prix) F1 coverage. If not, Sky have exclusive live coverage of both the Cricket World Cup and Ashes this year, so I expect there will be a decent cricket season deal this year.

Day & Week Pass prices already went up this year. Pound on day pass to £8.99 and two pound on week pass to £14.99 - though these can always be found cheaper.

If you have a laptop or computer with Windows 10, you can download the Windows BT Sport app and watch it on that fine even with just the EE contract, that's what I now do, can't believe didn't know about it for the first nine months. It's in 720p so good enough quality for 99% of people.
I too am holding out for a F1 season deal as have the pound a month mobile Sky Sports pass already.

The F1 9 month deal went live 1st March 2018 and the three month offer above expires 28th Feb .... could be the same again this year. You could squeeze all races in 9 month pass still from mid March to mid December for example.

The most I've ever paid for a Sky Sports Week Pass is £10 form retailers Wilko/PC World/Argos/WH Smiths etc and their prices have not gone up yet. They are still £10 for a week pass and £25 for a month of Sky Sports.

£150 for 10 months, I think, didn't buy it myself as I was happy to watch on C4 and buy day passes for Sky races.
For anyone who isn't aware, Quidco and TopCashBack are offering £8 cashback for new customers purchasing a Sky Sports Month Pass.

I bought a pass yesterday and it tracked immediately with TCB. I presume there won't be any issues with the 'offer is not available with any other offers' clause.
Though this says cancel anytime, does that mean it can be cancelled during first month and only pay for 1 month rather than 3? Or does it mean cancel any time and only pay 3 months?
i ask as I’ll be away after about 6 weeks so only looking for a 1 month deal.

Don't worry - if you subscribe to this you can cancel the moment you subscribe. If you do that, the pass will just expire on what would've been your next billing date, therefore meaning you will have just paid for one month (£20).

Are you sure about that? Just had a look at the terms and conditions and couldn’t work it out for myself. I would’ve thought your next billing period would be after three months if you have a three month pass!?

It's £20 a month for 3 months. You can cancel in the way I originally described. Someone I know managed to do so, should be fine but if you have any issues the Now TV customer service are usually very helpful.

Not sure. I read about it on here the other week. Guess you've been able to do it for ages.

PS. You can always use HDMI out on the laptop to connect/watch on the TV of course.
