Virgin media are doing a sky sports season ticket, basically you pay £150 upfront and don't get charged for sports for 10 months, overall saving you £122.50 over the course of the football season.

Good price, but it's an extra £7 per month for HD, probably worth noting before taking the plunge

Still gotta be a good deal at this price.

This has been posted in the past and it is a good deal. I just wish the sports would be much more flexible on TV, aka Let us buy a football-only package, or premier league only package. Or even pay game by game. As indiana said, HD costs more, which most people want. Maybe you should calculate what the HD price including season ticket costs all together, as well as just the season ticket.

you could always buy a NOWTv box and pay for a 24hour sky sports pass each time you want to watch a certain team play,
even though the passes are £9.99 for 24hours you can usually find them cheaper on ebay.

Have to agree with RyanBest, as an occasional rugby fan Sky Sports is far to dear and it is about time Sky took this into account. It only works if you are glued to Sky Sports - in my opinion!

apparently people still do, judging by the millions Sky give to Premier League. I think a lot of people unaware that its all free on the internet

If nobody paid for it we wouldn't be able to get it for free via XBMC. Don't judge people for paying the full price and saving us a fortune.

There's some good ones that work flawlessly for a small fee. We can't talk about such things on here tho or we risk getting banned. Google has all the answers. Search ebay for 'openbox v5s' also if you prefer a set top box, again the boxes are 100% legal but using them for free sky isn't so can't post any links.
