EDIT: Update 25thFeb: after recontracting from £9.50 offer a month to £10 a month for 12m I have just added this offer, I followed the live chat link and advised I arrived there following the offer page and all that was asked of me was a screenshot of the offer page as the offshore advisor could not open the offer webpage. Offer now applied, line rental/Broadband/Unlimited UKmobile/0870 calls £12pm ( I have posted more info about obtaining via live chatin latest post below )

For broadband aye lol £2 to Sky for up to three years may well help others drop Mobile Plan/cost or those with no Wifi calling save some serious cash - BT almost50p for the first minute to a mobile when I went through a mates bill the other day!!!

Lol Sky must say don’t call cos they want India third party ‘live chat’ staff to deal with it not their U.K. based call centre staff haha! Good to know they can though!!

YES, I do for ADSL. Not paying extra over the term for Fibre for what I use it for even if my landline can support FTTC Fibre + I can get Cable in my area but I won't sign to Vermin. I will give Fibre a couple of years once it becomes more mainstream down the line. Still think it's too expensive even when you can get on occasions, get Mobile Broadband that's faster than Fibre. It's about choice & the more competition, the better to drive prices down. Funny how folks pay extra for Fibre but yet they don't fully utilise the connection efficiently. Sometimes it can be the websites themselves that's the problem with slow old servers or demands on loads. Even the likes of HUKD folks have even crashed websites in the past due to pricing glitches with demands from users.

I have free Sky Fibre Unlimited until May of this year. I pay £18.99 for line rental and £8 for Sky Talk Anytime extra, so £26.99 for the package in total, will taking this offer supersede it and will Sky charge me for Fibre, if I do?

Which number did you call? I went round in circles with online chat and different numbers and no-one knew about the offer or how to apply it.

They did say that it was for former TV customers and only for those who received the specific email.

Did you send them the link to the offer in live chat ? Not knowing and unaware are two different things and Sky ain’t the worst offender with staff but they ain’t the best either!

@Seaniboy I appreciate your post. I have tried each of the options and chatted with 5 different advisers and none of them seem to be able to do it. The complication is that I already have anytime extra but I am within my cooling off period. Trying retentions next!

Sky staff eh! Like poster above they didn’t know about or could not find it but soon applied it when emailed it, chancers, disgraceful way to treat customers. Thankfully I’m leaving sky, 30 days notice going in the next few days. Sky ain’t getting a penny out of me, I’m on Black Fridays Virgin Mobile Unlimited 4G @ £20 a month and unless they give me broadband for £7 a month like new customers via Quidco £90 Cashback it’s ta’ra from me
