I know it's not the best deal as Sky always do percentage off to keep customers, but I got 65% off for 12 months on all packages and multi room, my mate tried this morning and got 60% off for 10 months (he obviously fell soft with them)!
Keep pushing them give them a bit of cheek. Why pay full price???

Was offered 60% off to rejoin also on a one month rolling contract for the TV bits. Don't mind paying sky now at a more reasonable rate.

If you're brave enough to hold off, you'll eventually get 12 months free! That's what I got last week.

I got 50% off, that is what I got last year. what I did was ask them to cancel account 1 month ahead of contract end date. then their retention team will call you within one week. at least that is what happened to me.

I got 60% off plus £100 credit on my account on a 12 month contract just before Christmas

been with them 20+years continuous subscription cancelled end December most I've been offered is 35% off where is THEIR loyalty!!!

They do this all year round, have done for years. I pay less than £40 for all the TV Channels (Including Sports & Movies) and Fibre (Free Line Rental) I have to give them a call one month prior to my bill going up and they drop it back down this is once every 12 months. If I forget and I'm to late the next month is usually a couple of quid as they refund my account.

or try an openbox from eBay!

Not quite as good as my 2 75% off and latest nearly free for a year deal.

(Thinly veiled 'I pay less than you post')

Not as good as them paying me a subscription for me to be their customer.

(thinly veiled, we all pay for a **** service so stop bragging post)

Mine finishes next month as I called last Wednesday and was offered 50% off for 10 months and not the full, went ahead and cancelled got called after 3 days banging on about same offer and how they can't offer better then that I told them to stick it where the sun don't shine

What's the nearly free deal?

I got 50% off tv, multi, sports & movies + line rental for 9.99

I've ditched sky and bought a freetime box. I don't miss it.

I've been getting weekly 'Come back to Sky' emails...33% off for 5yrs...

im hoping sky will continue to give me 75% off, if not ill be gone ... again until they ring and offer me ...
75% off....

I got 60% off and a £100 credit so basically free for 10 months. As I have only the basic package at £8.50 per month and no contract.

I cancelled on a 50% offer as they took my multi screen offer off and said they couldn't add it back on. Had a call off them offering 50% off! They obviously don't look at the account details to check what I had. No other calls from them and I left in November. Freesat all the way for me

Was this one

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-sky-tv-family-bundle-normally-33-a-month-12-contract-free-for-12-months-via-2001781?ppp=60

It was actually free for some selected customers, but in my case it was 60% off and £100 credit (and this was after 2 years of 75% off, with a month or two without sky after I cancelled in between)

I originally went for the movies package at £25 a month, but then decided to cancel pretty much straightaway so I've just got the family bundle with HD for £13 a month and £100 credit, making it £56 for the year or £4.66 a month. Got movies on nowtv anyway and sports via kodi.

If you went for the 'original bundle' for £8.60 a month, over the year it would cost you £3.20.

You can also cancel at any time as it isn't a 12 month contract, so in theory I could just use up the £100 credit which will be sometime in march/april having not paid a penny and then leave and wait for another deal.

Why do people try and remain 'loyal' to sky? They really don't give a sheeet.

was disconnected with sky for about a month, then logged back in to mysky and it said come back to sky for 50% off 12 months.

spoke to webchat, after some negotiating, got 60% off for 10 months, £50 bill credit and no contract commitment. So i can request to cancel when I want.

will probably keep until the summer when there is no footy to watch. then play waiting game again

they pay you? wow

I want these

This is not a deal for everyone and there is no specific deal it is sporadic and up to sky.

This post has just become a discussion point about sky.

Sorry but cold from me

Thanks for the effort though op.

I cancelled about 40 days ago now and I was only offered 20% off during when I initially cancelled. So am only on freebies now! I've been checking my emails and no offers have been received. Am £100 better off per month. Sky is a rip off and am not willing to pay there prices!!!

Thinking of ditching Sky after they promised to send an engineer to fix a problem they caused but after phoning to them again to find out were he was, they said my box is out of warranty so they want £60 to cover his time and petrol and so on, one of the updates they dished out has killed off the HD and the use of HDMI , when you switch the TV on it comes up with this TV is not HDCP compatible well it was before the update.

Just been offed 25% off lol

Just got told to remove movies and sport to save money and no to a discount lol

Just told them to shove the whole service up their ****!

Sky just let me cancel my contract as of next month when my current 12 month expires. The review offers were awful and more than I pay now so I cancelled. Will see if they call me in the next few weeks. I've also slated their customer advisors on Twitter to their sky help team.. See if I get a come back, will post when I do!

had same mess with sky before christmas told go if i want so i did was paying £67 pm for tv phone broadband. switched bb and phone to plus.net costs me £17.49 and tv switched over to now tv owned by sky lol bought load of boxes with 3month vouchers for entertainment package works out £4pm and free month of movies plus movies cost £9.99pm all with NO contract so worst case is going to cost me £14 pm for tv.
so total monthly is £31.49 with the gain of movies as well result suggest people go and have a read of now tv as a better option.
also i'm running 2 boxes without any multi room charges either!

I had now tv myself just canceled it this morning and got an offer of 5months movies £32 and if I remember rightly entertainment package was £21 for 5months. Wish I'd have known that before!

This deal is far from accurate

Just had a nightmare with them. Came back 2 years ago, 1st year - 75% off ( full sky tv with multiroom), last year, only gave me 50% plus multiroom. Now, only like £11 saving. Told them I was cancelling. I can get virgin but would prefer sky. I have Virgin BB and phone though.

I cancelled my sky and got back to them with 50% off on family bundle. However, I'm finding it very haggle them to bring my boradband and phone down. I have ran out of contract 3 years back but have been very lazy not to call back. the issue is that I cannot cancel my broadband as they would mark a cancel on my account and new provider can only take over once the notice period is over. I cannot find a good deal than £16.40 line rental and free broadband than what sky is offering. Is it best to request for MAC code to see if I get good retention offer?

You really got Sky free for one year? What do you get?

Definitely! give them 30 days notice & call their bluff. Most ppl back out and go back... I did! I was told the other day that on the 28th day they will ring you. HOLD OUT!

The issue here is that Sky has said that If I cancel my broadband, they will mark cancel on the account and if I go with new provider, then it can only be transferred once my line id deactivated. This means that I will have to pay the line activation fee again to get a broadband. I don't if that will apply if I go back to Sky though.

Hope this works for me, just called to cancel as to expensive and they offered me 10% discount, I refused and continued to cancel.

Does anyone know if you rejoin using partners name, bank etc if this is a new customer, or is it base do. The address?

I cancelled, they offered me 33%. I told them no, cancel it

A week later i got a phone call offering 50%

This is TV only though, no deals to be had with the phone or broadband (which is expensive for not a great service)

I had the banner across the top of my Sky when i logged on saying come back for 50% off. so went on the chat, at 1st he offered me 50% off the full TV pack inc sports movies and HD for £38.25 a month. Then i asked him about bill credit, he said there was no offer available for me with bill credit available, i said well why are people getting £100, so he said £25 then, i said no, he said £40, i said no, his final offer was £50 and i still said no... was holding out for £75!!! don't know why £75 but it would've been an extra 2 months free!!! will try again in a couple of days, working for the next 2 days so wont miss anything anyway!!!
