I think your calculator is broken. No way it was approx £17 a month for the full package last year, or maybe ever.

This is the amount I will be paying BT (£45), starting 28th, but I get internet, TV (max) weekend phone calls and £150 cash back. No activation fees, free equipment

As an existing customer with Sky, they were offering me £48 just for internet and variety (sky plus, standard). I hope in 18 months they offer me a better deal than this

New customers only.

18 month contract not 12 still an ok deal, could have thrown broadband in and I would have been hooked

Currently paying £30 a a month for everything.

Paid £20.50 last year for everything (75% off)

This seems well expensive.

Garbage

Oh yes it was. £20 a month plus £100 credit, lots of people on here got it.

Sky sports is slowly becoming irrelevant as BT flexes its muscles, Will not buy Sky ever again.

Im so tempted to give an equally pantomime response to that, but you have a bit of back-up from a few who scored from it so fair play to you fella. Who knew Sky were generous at all, unless you try to leave.

Yup, I got boxsets free for the year using this method, the. Upgraded to variety through a cashback site and got a free tablet which I sold, worked out sky were paying me to have it for a year.

did you manage to haggle anything off at the end of the 12 months? They wouldn’t do anything for me

Deal isn’t bad considering you get the lot, but doesn’t factor in an HD sub or multi room, the implementation of which is excellent with Sky Q.

I’ve just signed up again for 18 months at £34 for all, but it was a lot harder to get the price this year.

As you are new , try again but look out for a real bargain ..it is not easy ..don't post those items forclearance at one shop only

Hi, how did you get the discount again as sky q existing customer? I'm in notice period and tried repeatedly but they won't shift from 40% discount and £25 credit on rolling contract. I have the top package.

Last November a load of Sky voucher codes came out on the internet offering Sky Q 2TB boxes with full package for 12 months @ £32 or with an extra mini box for £42 a month. Jumps up to £96 after 12 month trail period expires.

I pay 35 for everything and that's because I said I was leaving and you have to go through with it. When you got 5 or so days left of your contract, ring them up and ask if they have any last ditch offers before you leave them. So it can be done just haggling them 👌🏻

How did you get this price please do you have a link

With Sky I best it best to leave and wait it out. After 6 months they really offer some great deals to come back. I was last offered 75% off the complete package Inc HD plus £100 credit. This was using my normal sky+ box not the Sky Q thing.

pay £53 for everything including a sky q minibox and 2tb sky q box, I have 50% off sky until 2021.

Who’s new to Sky? (Doesn’t currently have it but is on the verge of getting it)

As per above, I have no provider at the minute. Need to know what deal I can push for as a new customer and how to get the deal via phone/online?

When I had Sky 3 years ago I got everything, full HD tv and broadband for £45 but that was because I had a ‘friends and family’ voucher off someone who worked there.

Oh if anyone got a good BT offer please share that too

Thanks in advance

Box sets with sports and cinema includes £50 total discount £30 a month since Nov last year and will continue until at least March 2018. No voucher received offer in post after I cancelled.

Can't go back more than 12 months otherwise it would have shown the 100 quid bill credit too ... Shame to be honest probably will not get another deal like this again

Used the ‘leave sky’ option on the phone. First two people wanted £50 odd for the lot, third said I can give you 60% discount. I’ve never had to call back more than once. First two agents were pretty militant.

I could give you some advice on the full Sky TV bundle... PM me

Last year I got sky for £20 for the year and £100 credit on my account too. No chance to get it again. That deal was 75% off

So had my Sky friends on the phone there - what do you think of:

Fibre Unlimited
Box Sets (which I guess includes all of the channels you would get with Variety?)
Cinema
Multi-Room
All for £58 per month for 18 months and a £30 setup fee.

Appears on the surface to be a decent deal but I bow to everyone's superior knowledge/experience?

Keep getting offers same crap deal. They try to separate tv from broadband so that I will agree sky tv. Want me to sign up to a deal of 81 for sky q variety multi room with cinema and fibre and phone.

I've been with Sky 17 years and paying:

Variety £32
Sky Sports £27.50
Sky Cinema £8.50
SKY+HD £12
Sky Multiscreen £12
TOTAL £92

Paying £36.99 for Sky Fibre unlimited and talk anytime.

TOTAL £128.99

Been on Sky Message all day trying to get a better deal as kids want BT sports!

Best I've been offered is to switch to BT Infinity (£29.99 which includes BT Sport)
Stay with SKY (copied from chat):

--

If you wanted to keep the TV only with us then I would be able to offer: - £25 boxstes bundle instead of £38 for 18 months on an 18 month term with a one off £10 admin fee automatically added to the next bill -£20 complete sports for 18 month son an 18 month term -£2 sports HD instead of £6 for 18 months on an 18 month term. That would bring the monthly cost down to about £59 a month for the boxsets with sports and sports HD.

For the upgrade to Sky Q the very best I am able to do is: Sky Q 2tb with 3 mini boxses, as you a black tier sky vip customer I would be able to offer the 2TB and the first mini box for free instead of the £85 that those would have been.. The next two mini boxes after that would be £99 each normally but I could do these for £168 for both for the install and activation. That is the total best I am able to do to get you the very lowest price possible!

--

When I asked to cancel, the agent told me I would lose my 17 year tenure and not be eligible to the SKY Q deal.

What should I do?

Thanks

In my opinion... “Been on Sky Message all day trying to get a better deal as kids want BT Sport”, you’ve saved more than what BT Sport will cost but you’re still looking to cancel... let it cancel and don’t waste another advisors time.

Or

Accept the deal you’ve been given with your 17years tenure.
You’re getting the 2TB box and your first mini free. Everyone pays £99 for each mini after their first. As for the price... it’s a choice, amongst everything else.

If you cancel, the likelihood will be winback calling you: giving you 60% off (for those who say “75% and £100 can take a seat”) however taking SkyQ will see that 60% coming off and the initial discount going on.

So would you take the BT broadband deal and accept the SKY tv deal with SKY Q?

If I cancel are you saying I wouldn’t get the SKY Q offer with the 50% discount?

Need to make a decision today to take advantage of BT. If I could stay with SKY for £70 a month I’d do that but not sure how realistic that is.
