Left them in December, now on now tv.

Sky movies £3.99pm
Entertainment pass £6/7 (3mth pass via eBay)
Sports lucky if there’s two matches a month I’ll want to watch

They keep offering “fantastic” deals ranging from £37/42pm for the whole package. Personally I think they have shafted customers since they stripped down everything and put price tags on everything, kids tv... hd... box sets etc
add more for sports in HD also

Just download the 'LIVE NET TV APP'. ALL THE SKY TV YOU WILL EVER WANT ON YOUR MOBILE OR TABLET WHICH YOU THEN SCREEN MIRROR TO YOUR TV. AND THE BEST BIT...ITS TOTALLY FREE.
To be honest they gave me that free on sky chat for 12 months so dont need to pay the extra £2 for sky sports hd but you must haggle with them on the chat to get the best deal

No I use the smart app built into my phone, I was using screen mirroring as just a example, what other simpler ways can you suggest please?
You won't find it in the play store, just Google live net TV and download the apk.

I’ve had the same problems with Apple, trying to get this app on my iPad, so I’ve just got it on my Samsung tab 2 instead now. There are loads of videos on YouTube showing how to put this app onto apple devices, but I just haven’t looked into it yet.

Personally I don't want to pay for kids channels, so I get a better deal. HD has always been extra by the way.

I dont do it myself so I cant recommend anything specific, but I know eg. android apps or plugins for other software exists.

Just look at all the complaints the media industry has against kodi plugins as one example.

Nope, a £5 a month extra cost option (unless you haggle).

I haggled with them last night HD was an extra £5 so I reminded them that recently I was offered it for £1 and they matched it,same with boxsets.

Sky made a song & dance about it a few years back, telling customers HD is free. Sky movies was first and then Sports followed

Sky included HD in the Movies packages pricing, it's still extra for and separately charged for both Sports and Entertainment according to the e-mail I received this week.

I changed from sky to Virgin last September & it’s spot on.
Yeh takes some getting used to especially after 20 years with sky but the V6 box works really well, loads better than the old TiVo box they had. I really like how the V6 box works now I’ve figured it all out and got use to it all.
i would have no complaints staying with virgin if they offered another great deal again.

Give it it a try

No not noisy at all, i don't here a thing.
Some say it's not the best looking box but its a decent compact size and does a great job and serves my tv needs adequately.

Sky made an additional charge for HD right up until June 2016, which mean that anyone who began a contract in May 2016 would still have been paying for HD up until last summer. Prior to that Sky didn't include HD channels in the "original bundle", one had to upgrade to the "variety bundle" to access the HD versions of the channels included in the "original bundle". The price difference for the two was £22.50 vs £35, a hefty fee to access HD chanels, many of which were already free and HD on freeview.
But this deal only applies if you already have a sky q box as it seems a sky q box isn't provided with this deal?

Is that including line rental or is it £17 with TV ?
They are increasing my tv package to £89 next month so I have cancelled. More than double what I was paying. Cheapest offered was £60. Will wait. Been with them since the 80's.
The best they offered me for Entertainment package £15 and £15 for broadband. So anyone else get any better deals from them?
Just been offered the Sky Entertainment package plus Boxsets for £13 a month for 18 months currently have the Original Bundle but my £10 a month deal on that ends in June

What’s the app pic look like so many to chose from on the Apple store
So I can’t find out how to download Live net tv!
I’ve cancelled sky at the weekend. They rang me today and offered me Sky Q with Sport, entertainment pack, kids, HD and another box for £66 a month for 12 months the it goes up £30 for the remaining 6 months (18 mth contract). Price does include my B.B. and Phone line until Jan 19 as I’m currently tied in to that contact. Thoughts? Any good? I said no by the way hoping they come back again!!

It's not on the apple store, and I've already tried to download it to my own ipad via safari, but apple keeps blocking the installation of the app. You can only download it to a non apple device, but you will have to Google it as you will not find it in the play store.
