How long had / have you left Sky for?
How long have you cancelled?
I cancelled just before Xmas

Whilst I agree in principal on both your points (particularly multiroom), £3 for UHD isn't bad at all - effectively, you can add the equivalent to Netflix Premium (Ultimate and UHD) for £9 (£3 less than Netflix direct), and get UHD on your sport and movies thrown in.

Is this SkyQ?

Is this SkyQ?

I assume so as they are offering UHD.

I got an email offering sports and entertainment on my old HD box for £27.
Called and ended up with new Sky Q box with UHD, Sports, 2nd box and Netflix for £40. Got offered movies for £3 but not interested. Had to pay £25 for install cost but nothing for either box.
Why wouldn't you just use now tv much cheaper
Prepare for a price hike within 3 mths of signing up

I thought that you could only get UHD on a 2TB SkyQ box?
I've been a customer for 12 years. My contract was up in a few weeks. I was paying £48 for Sky sports, entertainment, kids, cinema, broadband essential, sky talk on an old HD box. I've just renewed for 18 months for Sky signature, sports, cinema, kids, netflix standard, super fast broadband, sky talk for £65 and paid £20 fee to recontract and £20 for a Sky Q box.

Fee to recontract?
Dont know about comeback deals as i cant seem to find a way to cancel atm

Fee to recontract?

It did bother me tbh but there seemed no movement in it. I was originally being asked to pay £75 to renew my old package but happy that I got it down to £65, upgraded my broadband and got Netflix added in. I like Sky and also like to get as good a deal as possible

No you can get it on the newer 1tb box

No, the newer 1tb boxes have UHD and they have just enabled HDR too.
Isn’t this 18 months minimum term?

I managed to get sky Q box an fitted for £10 (upgraded from old box)
I got signiture, Netflix on demand and Hd for £28.50. Then just recently I looked at my offers, via the box itself. And got a free sky Q mini box, an multiroom for just £3 extra!! So now have it in my bedroom to!

Slowly creeping up a fair bit and isn’t the bargain it used to be IMO
I've gradually been downgrading. I now pay about £17 per month just for a basic family variety package in hd (no movies or sports) on my sky hd box. They wanted another £15 for multiroom so I binned it off. Slowly I'm transferring to Freesat I think.

Really? I thought multiroom was £12 even without an offer.

Well they wanted £32 for the two boxes. So I said no and I'm paying £17 for one. Maybe because I'm on an old sub package they don't offer anymore, not sure.

I then got an email offering it for £9 but I think I'm going to move to Freesat.

I tried this a couple of years ago and went to just Freesat. Saved some money but I missed some of the Sky Channels. So started using Now TV as a built in app, to give me something extra to watch. Eventually after about 6 months, got a good Sky Q offer to return that I couldnt refuse. Freesat is good if you have a sat dish already and limited budget, but you may start to miss channels and its a pain if you have no recording option available.

I've found that we don't really watch much sky content. Just the kids TV which is why I kept one box. There is a new Freesat recorder which has been launched which I have my eye on but it seems to have a lot of teething problems with it according to reviews.

I would consider a sky q deal but then I'm not sure my TVs are good enough to benefit.

Is it because it's a "come" back deal?
I guess its always best to take precautions when taking a new contract because you dont want to get screwed over.
