Local Home Bargains are carrying the Skylanders Trapmasters for £4.
Decent price for a large figure compared to everywhere else.
Cheapest at mo is around £6-9.
They'll work on any version AFTER and including Skylanders TRAP TEAM.
Might be useful as Stocking fillers.

These were in the West Bromwich store, wife will check the Walsall one tomorrow probably when she goes food shopping.
Didn't buy any, we have a Maxlander... that's been out the box twice.

I paid £10 alone for that one with the purple hat only last month

i bought swap force starter. will it work on that?

Sorry m8, that game came outbefore Trap Team.
But you can pick up Trap Team And Superchargers for about a tenner each now.
Someone actually posted a Superchargers deal not so long back for £9.99.

Apparently Tesco have Superchargers starter pack £14.99.
Plus if you're buying the Wii U version, DK doubles as a amiibo.
Not a lot of game tbh, but I paid £55 for the Wii U version in September last year.
Super-robbed.

Giants is the best actual 'game', m8, cheap as chips now too as it's old.
Swap Force is pretty good too.
The order of Skylanders releases is:
Spyro's Adventure: half decent start to it all.
Giants: Good.
SwapForce: Starting to need loads of characters to explore different areas. Still good.
TrapTeam: Not just Trap master characters needed but Traps too.
Superchargers: Characters AND vehicles needed to explore areas.

By the end of it all, the figures, traps n vehicles are just keys to get access to areas that contain 'hats'.
All hats do is boost stats.

Only game I watched my son play that I thought was any good was Giants.

Check your local CEX for any small cheap figures with a green base, they're from Spyro's Adventure so work on all the games.

Hope you enjoy playing em more than paying for em.

Cheers for the heads up.

Has anyone found anything apart from Ka-Boom, Wallop, Tuff Luck and Blastermind? That was the full range in both Birkenhead stores. (And no Wallop in the Seacombe store).

Think those were all I saw too, m8.
If you don't mind 2nd hand, could buy Wallop n trade him in CEX for £6 on voucher.
Blastermind is only worth £2 trade so avoid him. Rest came up £4 trade so no gain.
I know CEX get through a fair bit of T2L traffic, might find another figure you're after.

kaboom. wallop, tuff luck and blastermind at my local too. picked up wallop and blastermind. the other two will hopefully wait till I have more money.

Saw these in my local today (Newtownabbey) and was going to post the deal, fortunately I searched first!
jacjacatac - I think you are right Giants was probably the best deal in terms of gameplay as you only needed one Giant of each element to complete the game (8 Giants). Every game after that needed more than 8 characters to access all areas! I have 4 kids so I have seen a lot of value out of these, although I did pay full price for everything up to Trap Team and watching the price plummet was a little upsetting!
I bought all 4 and would prefer to but them new over second when they are this price (sadly they killed the online game I played on my Android tablet - there was also a PC version which allowed the use of the Xbox 360 portal!) I gave up trying to catalogue of the figures they have and now just buy whatever is under a fiver if I am confident we don't already have it (which has resulted in quite a few triplicates - and in the case of Hex I think I managed to buy 6 off - but hey they where/are still £1 in Toys'R'us!)

Heat added btw! Oh and the 2 different triple packs are also in my local (Newtownabbey) store (£3.99 IIRC though)...
