I've had email from Skype with details of a promotion deal for Free worldwide calls to mobiles and landlines for a month. Might be useful if your university student son or daughter needs constant instructions on how to use the washing machine, switch on the cooker or just a wake up call in the morning....or more likely the afternoon! I agree with you, it is a trial, though easy to do, similar to run a 100m trial l, then you get a Mars bar. Cannot say Mars bar is free. Or you do a job trial day , then you get free cash for your expenses paid for a day's trial. However it is technically not a freebie, though could be useful to those who uses for a month, then stop. There ought to be a "trial" tab.

It does state in my title description...'for a month'. So it is just for one month only, then cancel.
can you remove card details straight after trial and conitue for the month?

First, sign into your account: you’ll need to enter your payment details – but we won't charge you during your free trial.

ive signed up and everything got the email verifying, but when i try and make a skype call from pc it wont let me ?
