It's available now if you get the GT Sport bundle or the new PSVR Starter bundle.

So the ones on amazon with the camera (and new packaging) are the new model? Thanks if that's true

Gameseek has it for £38

I find it hard to believe that it takes a normal game's amount of development to alter Skyrim for VR, so £40 seems like a ripoff for such an old game.

Totally agree. Instead of a new Elder Scrolls game we've had them milk Skyrim for everything they can. Remaster, Switch version, VR version, ridiculous

Only one confirmed to have V2 is Skyrim bundle so far I thought.

I really thought they'd reconsider the full-game-or-nothing approach on this... not many people are going to pay £40 for a game they already own... far more would have bought the VR mod for about £15 if it were made available

TBH, I'm not convinced it's even a title worth having...
All the first person games I've played in VR with motion and direction governed by the gamepad make a lot of people nauseous within 10-15 minutes (hence all the "teleport" VR games like Doom, Batman, Wayward Sky, etc)... and Skyrim is going to take a LOT of 10-15 minute sessions to complete!

After seeing reports online about GT Sport bundle coming with the V2 I had it confirmed from grainger games. They did tell me that they weren't sure then sent me a follow up email a few days later saying in fact the GT bundle and new Starter pack are V2.

I would even imagine they used the same downgraded framework they were working on for the switch version... more reason why I think price will fall. I think this one would work better with oculus touch controller.

Thanks, they said it would have different packaging so all those packs with cameras and the VR Worlds on the box must be V2

I shall wait a bit as I want it sub £300

Just read a few post-release thoughts on the game and it seems that with reduced FOV and optional teleport, this could be a great VR title (I was concerned about motion sickness).

Still not a great price and still upset about the absence of a VR mod to the main game but it'll probably join my collection in a few months when it's sub-£20
