I hate the teleport system with move controllers and don't see the point of playing with a control pad. I'll get it when it comes out on pc. Got fallout vr to play in the interim

Not sure if you're aware, but they've recently patched it so that you don't have to teleport, you can kinda 'point and move' with the move controller so that its smooth movement. I've not tried it myself, but looks infinitely better than the teleporting option.

I've not played any of the expansions either so I'm really looking forward to it
This gave me motion sickness more than any other game. Awesome fighting dragons in vr though

Your in for a treat.. graphically in all honesty it's around the ps3 version.. slightly better and draw distance is poor. But the immersion whether u go for archery, being a mage or good old sword and shield.. it's all just fantastic and this is got to be the best full game on vr so far.
Is there a demo? Concerned about motion sickness. No major problems on Doom or Farpoint but RIGS made me queasy - didn't get past the tutorial.

rigs is the only game so far to make me feel that way!! I get zero motion sickness from skyrim. The game is slower paced. Faster games tend to play me up. Plus in skyrim there are a shed load of options to tweak motion sickness from changing movement style (teleport or normal) tweaking the tunnel vision type ratio around the screen when moving and turning styles.. if ur fine with farpoint I reckon skyrim will be the same.

thanks
Bought the entire set-up just to play this game.

Biggest disappointment of my life. Even bought the Pro and the V2 VR because they said you notice the difference.

Found it terrible - and most reviews unfortunatley say the same (I just thought they werent true Morrowind people!)

But its just not right. It doesnt work "smartly" and it was a terrible gaming experience.

I'm struggling with most PSVR games and motion sickness unfortunately - even the roller coaster bit on Rush of blood!

Like another commenter said you can use the move controller for smooth movements, you can move forwards, backwards, strafe and hold your shield up with the left controller, it's actually quite good.

Yeah, I've been playing Skyrim VR since around its release as I bought the PSVR/Skyrim bundle during black friday and the smooth movement option was available then. I cannot play it with teleportation.

I found playing with the dualshock made me feel a bit funny as you can move in unnatural ways. Playing with the Moves is more natural and didn't cause any weirdness plus it is more fun with the Moves.

This was the first VR game I had played btw.

.. you realise you can change the teleport system right? so you can "walk normally" in game.. ?
Menu system is terrible but rest is spot on. No motion sickness using locamotion and click turning. Got motion sickness with rigs and drive club vr.

I haven' tried it with the dual shock yet. I' sure I'll get used to it eventually, it's just the feeling of walking without actually walking

You train that out of yourself after a bit. A few 30 minute sessions over a couple of days and it was gone for me. Took a 2 month break from vr and had no issues returning to it jumping straight into skyrim.
I couldn't get in to flat Skyrim but I can't get enough of this version! It's so much fun I even got myself a pine scented candle for full immersion 😄

Perfect!! I've been meaning to get a fan anyway, I hear they help a lot with motion sickness.
The worst motion sickness I've had was with Farpoint. I nearly chucked. Took an hour to recover.
