A step up from previous models from Editors Keys, having previously owned the SL300 which is a quality microphone, I know that this one guarantees just that and more, the SL300 lacked the gain and volume knobs found on the front of the microphone as well as the headphone jack which allows live monitoring of your vocals, The SL600 is the peak of all USB microphones in my opinion, head and shoulders above many notable competitors such as the Audio Technica AT-2020 and the Blue Yeti. If like me you record vocals of any sort this mic is perfect for you, comes with a shock mount for the microphone and a secure carry case which is padded for extra protection when in transit. This microphone usually retails for £199.99 and that is the current price of it on Amazon.

It's the exact same microphone :), not sure as to why it has MK2, but it's the same one, this Microphone will be able to record both vocals and guitar!

Sorry, I removed my post as son just informed me he has a Rode NT1A which he is content with.

Okay, the Rode NT1A is a brilliant mic, however it is XLR so for new buyers a USB mic is recommended as audio interfaces can be pricey!
