AHH, must be similar to the indoor / outdoor fridge freezer my neighbours bought from Argos. They just tend to leave it out in the rain though. The have an indoor/outdoor sofa for the front garden too.
I don't know why they call it 'indoor/outdoor' Reading a few reviews the surface seems to consist of 'plyboard' whatever that it. Some sort of woodish surface which apparently stains and bubbles in the rain. So why not just say 'indoor'?
Trundle it outdoors when there's no rain or wind!
For a proper real outdoor table you probably need to pay £250 or more.

I thought the same thing. The site even says it needs to be stored indoors. So I don't understand the outdoor element to this. Was going to buy but need to store in the shed so this is useless to me.

I think it means you can take it out if it isn't raining!
If you are serious about table tennis, not just an occasional player, you'll need to find a place nearby or pay a lot more.I'm afraid.

Yup
You may be alright, if the shed isn't metal.
I have a very old table which basically consists of a sheet of thick melamine. So I can and do leave it outside

I would LOVE this. No room though unfortunately. Unless we gut the garage and throw everything out. Tempting...

It's England it's always raining
My one regret in life was not continuing to play table tennis when I started uni. I was pretty damn good at it, became a Midlands doubles champion after 12 months of playing. Instead I took up football, which I was crap at.
You could keep it outside if you had a cover??

It’s a great sport. I could play it all day

As my Mum would say, "yer no deid yit".
I want a table tennis but don't have space for a proper one. What are peoples opinions on those ones you can just unfold and lay on top of your dining table. That could definitely work in my dining space.
Great deal - just wish I had the space...
I guess we cannot keep this in the garage specially in the winter. If we want to keep it outside (with cover on) or in a shed or garage, we need outside rated table.
Original Price £199.99…………………
It's gone down to £119.99

Lol
This can be an outdoor item, as long as it has cover for rain protection
I placed my order on 27th Feb when I originally saw the other deal posted for the indoor table - I opted to go for this one instead as you can lift one side up to practice - whereas the other would not from what I'm aware of.
Delivery was due this morning 11 Mar, I could see the truck at the end of the road, but they phoned me and said they were having difficulty getting down my road - bizarre since I see plenty of Argos trucks coming down my road.
Anyway, they said they would have to transfer it to a smaller truck/vehicle and couldn't give me a designated time and I'd have to wait around all day. A bit of a shame as they gave me a 7-9am time slot originally.
All the factors added together of a 2-week wait time for delivery since ordering, this debacle with the delivery and further reasons I've noted below - I've decided to cancel my order.
In a way I'm sort of glad this pushed me towards cancelling as after doing further research I don't think I'd be ultimately happy with this table. I've read elsewhere that it scratches and dents quite easily - also the bounce of the ball isn't quite right on this surface due to the reduced table top size of 12mm. I'm going to look for something of better quality as I did used to play semi-competitively.

Hope your experience turns out better than mine.
I’m hacked off . Ordered on 1st March . Supposed to here on Friday but they phoned me today and said it would be another week .

Indeed I've also cancelled, I too don't feel comfortable bouncing my balls on a table like this.

Great find. Just won't be able to find the space
For a proper family experience you need to buy a few more cheap bats, and then play until all but one lose their surfacing.

You can then fight over getting the one "good" bat.

"I’m going to give the same advice for outdoor table tennis tables! The budget price outdoor tables are quite flimsy, more likely to break and the bounce of the ball is terrible.

To get a decent outdoor table tennis table, which will last you many years and has a decent bounce, you’ll need to spend in the region of £300-£500"
