Brilliant Mattress which Debenhams are selling for £1180 in this size (double). Cheapest I can find online is £349.99 (double) delivered from this reputable source.

Saving of £830 meaning you could buy 3 of these for the cheaper than one of them from Debenhams.

debenhams.com/web…986

Item No. 3210032139

if link doesn't work to verify price from Debenhams

Remember you spend at least 6 hours per day on one of these, so it's best to buy something decent. At this price if you keep it for 10 years, it will cost you less than £3 per month, which if you think about it is practically nothing.

Actually I just did, I have been busy painting all day when I finished, I went on and looked at mattresses and spotted this one, has good reviews at mattressman also

mattressman.co.uk/mat…spx

but it costs £400 from them in a double

Are you an expert on mattresses? I have a firm 2000 pocket spring mattress but after about 3 months it's now feeling more medium than firm. It's no where near as firm as this bed I slept on, whilst on my honeymoon in Vienna at a hotel that was £300+ a night. I want the firmest mattress around but 2000 seems the max and there is no super firm mattress I can see on that site.

firmness depends on the user's weight more than anything else.

the more you weigh the less firm a mattress is.

therefore if you are overweight / obese then it is likely that it doesn't matter what mattress you try unless its worth a few grand, it will never be firm.

it seems to have solid reviews on mattressman and a good review on debenhams too which 6 people liked. they are made in the UK afaik, so you know it's not cheap parts. im not a mattress expert, but if your looking for a firm mattress and are willing to pay for quality then go to factory-beds-direct.co.uk/ and tell them you want a really firm one, these guys are meant to be the best out there for quality mattresses, but they aint cheap.

Cheers, I am body mass index 25....I am not overweight
Who would pay the original price of 1180 for it!?. For that price you could buy a Vi Spring which is hand-made.

I need some cushioning for the wife or she would get a bruised back side.
