Was gonna post this deal to, anyway i made use of it, such a great game and now an amazing price
Just before anyone buys the DLC bundle.

Not sure if many of you have noticed.
But the total price of the individual DLC combined is less than the DLC bundle pack.…b/6

Top game. No idea why it never got more attention, I thought it was easily one of the best games of 2012. Well worth £7.49.

I wouldn't say any of the DLC is required playing, most of it is just "shiny", the police missions (SWAT and the original Police Protection Pack) are worth having (if for no other reason than they give you easy access to guns when you level up a bit; guns are pretty rare, it's not really a shooting game tbh but it's nice to occasionally just go on a GTA type killing spree!).

The martial art packs are a bit so-so. Most of the fighting in the game is pure timing ("you don't say?" - I hear you shout!). Once you've got your timing locked down you can beat just about anyone in the game and any group in the game, no matter how many enemies they throw at you one after another. And the fighting DLC just throws more and more enemies at you and gives you a couple of extra moves (although you'll probably still spend 99% of you're time using the same three buttons for countering, slapping enemies around and grappling).

Nightmare in Northpoint DLC is kind of like the Undead pack for Red Dead Redemption. It's not brilliant tbh, but maybe worth it if there's 75% off the DLC.

There's some race packs too I think. These are just more of the same (racing around sections of the map). There's already quite a lot of racing in the game and a lot of the game already revolves around far more interesting car based missions (usually involving driving while being shot at, or driving and having to highjack another vehicle, or driving a car off a pier, or escaping from the police/enemy triad while shooting a semi-auto at pursuing cars/bikes, etc), so the straight "first across the line" type racing missions wear thin quite quickly. These packs aren't bad, just not that interesting really. I'd say avoid.

I dunno, tbh I loved this game that much that I bought all the DLC anyway, because I wanted to try and complete every part of it. Nothing anybody said would have put me off buying the DLC (even the bad reviews I read before they were released). So maybe you'll feel that way too! Having said that, with the benefit of hindsight I probably wouldn't have bought about 3/4 of the DLC I did if I'd know what was in it. This game regularly comes up on steam sales, so don't feel rushed into buying all the DLC at once! There's plenty to do in the game without any DLC, so it's probably worth trying the game and seeing which bits you like the most and buying DLC which complements those parts of the game.

Nightmare in North Point and the umm, think it's Zodiac tournament, they're great but a little short. All others are effectively just cars and 'game enhancing' additions like money.
