Working from home I have found the internet increasingly slow so I needed a quick fix to get myself online. This little box from ZTE has got me online getting speeds of 50+ in 10 minutes. The price is so low compared to even the 3G models being sold by other retailers.

Protect the battery on your phone too
Cold, this model has issues with battery and battery cannot be replaced. Better pay a bit more and take 970
The mobile networks are suffering just like fixed line networks with high use. All networks are getting stress tested through high use and remember you need to add on the cost of a PAYG or contract sim

Whilst that is true, BT for example have said that despite seeing an increase of between 35 to 60% in the usage of their broadband service this past week they have the capacity on their network to cope. Also, at this time it is still below the record levels they have previously experienced.

I imagine that to be a similar case with the mobile networks.

Edit: It appears mobile networks are indeed feeling the pressure.

Do not see any 970 model but another ZTE model gets reasonable reviews HERE
Waiting for something like this one to drop below £100!

Must have been a late adopter buddy.
We were all running PET`s, 5150`s and Atari 800`s in the early 80`s. Then us that were running BBS`s moved onto Amigas and Atari ST`s I still have all my old supra modems. Funny you mention the zx81 though, everybody in Tayside had at least one of them and when it broke you just went upto timex and got somebody to chuck you a new one over the fence for a fiver

You mentioned "a little bit more" but this model is almost 3 times the price! I would stick with the £35 deal here IMO.

Cant believe you found that on Amazon, been looking at the pro version on Alibaba for like 200-250 but that's still abit steep, have even contemplated about getting a Xiaomi mix instead.

Also a rumour a few months back:
consumer.huawei.com/en/…02/

^ found some source on Huawei website regard $150 5g phone.
So you could wait for this like me.
