Grr, Im so annoyed! Was after a new duvet... and there is no Netto stores where I live...

The nearest one is 52miles in Kidderminster!! Booo..
Voted hot though, they should build a store near me..

Our nearest is 56 miles in Carlisle!! :x

wow, it's cheaper to buy a new one than to get our old one cleaned - that can't be right

No stores in Scotland :x`

This is a SLUMBERDOWN brand and not Slumberland as stated above. I dont know whether that makes a difference.

ooops sorry for that - edited -

Good deal if you're near a Netto. Thanks

Anyone experienced in duvet buying? Does this seem like a good purchase or is it better to cough up the cash for a real brand?

Was looking at these in my local store yesterday...Wished I'd bought one now...Might go later to see if they've still got a King Size.

Anyone know what the individual pocketed/squarish duvets are called? Pocketed so the filling remains equal over the whole duvet.

Did a search, and assuming you mean like this

It came under as "Down Duvet"

The down of birds is a layer of fine feathers found under the tougher exterior feathers. Very young birds are clad only in down. Down is a fine thermal insulator and padding, used in goods such as jackets, bedding, pillows and sleeping bags.if this duvet is made with down, it is a mega hot deal, will check tomorrow at my local, but I am not convincedhttp://www.thewarehouseoutlet.co.uk/product.asp?P_ID=162&strPageHistory=relatedHH:whistling:

Its not the duvet in the post.

Its the question someone asked...

I do apologize, i do not specialize in duvets. --> I only did a google search?!

The cotton mill onlline selling the single £18.00 double for £24.00 and king for £27.00
so seems a good deal

I have one of these I bought in Argos end of catalogue sale in the summmer, Im sure its made by Slumberdown and is very good quality, its a thick duvet and very warm and does actually retain its thickness and shape by 'bouncing back', and Im pretty sure I paid £12.99 which was half price for a King Size so at this price its not a bad deal at all

hi are these duvets covered in a cotton/polyseter material or a paper like mess found on some cheaper duvets

had a look in my local today, it is polyester hollow fibre filling with a polypropylene (paper like mess) cover

I get really annoyed with Netto deals (or at least my local store). Everytime they have anything decent, by the time you get there, they've "sold out" or if you get there as they are opening, "they didn't recieve any".
Today, got there at 8.30am & had a good look around but no duvets on sale or any sign that suggested they had been. Asked a member of staff who said he'd have a look in the warehouse for me. As I was waiting, I noticed a lady at the checkout (who was chatting to staff & was either a friend or relative) with 4 in her trolley. The checkout operator then shouted to the lad who was handing mine to me "can you put another 2 duvets away for Julie". As I was paying, the girl serving me shouted "have you put my duvets away as well". Unless it's something the staff, their relatives or friends want you've got very little chance of getting anything on offer. At the same time this was going on, another customer was having the same problem with a sewing machine they have on offer.

Yeah I've been to 2 stores near me today...no luck at either. The first store I was told 'they went really quickly first thing'...Yeah probably with the morning stafff...! and at the other store I was told they hadn't been delivered?

Not happy...:x

The store in Flint had loads left (duvets and mattress protectors). I bought 2 King size duvet and three mattress protectors (2 double and 1 king).
